Help-ctd while fast traveling or walking to Riverwood

As the title say, i have that kind of ctd.

I have a fresh installation and save game with no alteration of installed mods or load order/mod priorities.

The first time i went to Riverwood was from Helgen (intro) and all was fine.After that when ever i try to aproach the area i have ctd.

My popyrus log alweays say 

[01/24/2017 - 08:20:00PM] [Vivid Weathers] : Frostfall compatibility ON.

I checked both mods and and don't have special compatibility patches and neither there are special patches incorparated in their respected installers.

Vivid weathers mod author mentions compatibility with frostfal ver. 3.0.3 and above. I have latest version of frostfall

I use enb memory allocation fix and freemem mod

most textures intalled are 1k unless 2k option was inevitable (though in rare cases)

my gpu is a gtx770 2gb

I would bet it's a skeleton issue.  There is a werewolf that frequently spawns between Riverwood and Helgen but he's not always there (sometimes it's just normal wolves).  In my case, the original skeleton replacer I was using did not support Realistic Force or SOS so I was crashing there.

So try reinstalling SOS and any other skeleton you have making sure not to overwrite SOS's skeleton. Check any followers if you have any that stay there and make sure their skeletons are correct as well as any other mod that alters anyone in the area.

No, i don't think it's a skeleton issue, i 've been using latest xpmse with reduced force and sos full with no issues and never had any problems on that department.I actually didn't have any problems with my latest gamethrough though i deceded to scrap it brcause of mods i realized that i didn't want them long term and had to remove them and others that i deceded i need them ( those were frostfall and wet and called). Actually, if i have to scrap this save too and remove those two mods my game will be in the exact previous status as it was before i decided to end it but, lighter...so, i am wondering if it's just a memory issue due to the heavy load these two mods carry...

The loading screen goes for a few secs and then goes ctd right before the game is ready to resume in riverwood.I got latest xpmse installed with the appropriate options, along latest sos full and reduced force.The only follower i have in game is Sofia (never had issue with her).I use sos only for male npcs (no creatures or futa).The only other mod i use that has skeleton files in it is milk mod economy, but i have installed the regular option (on par with the hdt feature of xpmse), not the old bbp fix that comes with mme.I use a custom Nord race and have replaced the skeleton files from the xpmse ones.Generally my built is always the same as far as it's core goes and never had that kind of problems.Is there a general rule as to what mod priority i need to have for these mods?Loot takes care of the load order just fine untill now and so do the reproccer,dual sheath and bashed patches.

 

Anyway, i reintalled al xpmse,sos, realistic ragdolls and force, milk mod economy mods and also removed frostfall,campfire and ineed mods from my mod lists and rebuilt the patches but to no avail, ctd happens always when i try to get to Riverwood (fast travel, walking and usig coc in console)

Does your "XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended-68000-3-93" entry in MO have a lightning bolt with a minus next to it?

Yeap many times when entering a cell and a crash happens usually before the screen can even load points to a skeleton issue. SOS comes with it's own skeleton do not overwrite it. So try reinstalling SOS and any other skeleton you have making sure not to overwrite SOS's skeleton. Check any followers if you have any that stay there and make sure their skeletons are correct as well as any other mod that alters anyone in the area.

The loading screen goes for a few secs and then goes ctd right before the game is ready to resume in riverwood.I got latest xpmse installed with the appropriate options, along latest sos full and reduced force.The only follower i have in game is Sofia (never had issue with her).I use sos only for male npcs (no creatures or futa).The only other mod i use that has skeleton files in it is milk mod economy, but i have installed the regular option (on par with the hdt feature of xpmse), not the old bbp fix that comes with mme.I use a custom Nord race and have replaced the skeleton files from the xpmse ones.Generally my built is always the same as far as it's core goes and never had that kind of problems.Is there a general rule as to what mod priority i need to have for these mods?Loot takes care of the load order just fine untill now and so do the reproccer,dual sheath and bashed patches.

 

Anyway, i reintalled al xpmse,sos, realistic ragdolls and force, milk mod economy mods and also removed frostfall,campfire and ineed mods from my mod lists and rebuilt the patches but to no avail, ctd happens always when i try to get to Riverwood (fast travel, walking and usig coc in console)

I read that one of the ways to short out a proper mod priority in the left panel of MO is to follow the way the load order is arranged in the right panel.

For load order shorting i used LOOT and after that i rearanged the mod list in the left panel accordingly.

In this way i wonder what is the proper placement of mods that contain both esm and esp files?Esm files are placed towards the top of the load order before any esp, if a mod has both, should it be placed in left MO panel towards the top, according to the esm placement of the load order or according to the esp?

 

As far as i am aware, in load order, the plugins that have priority are the ones towards the end of the list aka bigger load order number means greater priority

Does the same apply in mod priority sorting? That is greater number in the shorting means bigger priority?If that is indeed correct i think i totally screwed up my left MO panel

 

Oh and yes, ctd at riverwood still occurs

You could run TES5EDIT and once it's load up all your .esp/.esm's go to your skyrim .esm and see what is altering riverwood then you might be able to see which mod or thing is doing it.

Ok, thanks, what am i supposed to be looking for in skyrim .esm?Am not very familiar with in depth trouble shooting, i know only to how to clean esm.esp files from dirty edits and check for missing masters with it!

Click + to get the drop down there are 2 spots to check location and cell click a spot and get the drop down. Click + location then riverwood location line in the right hand area at the top will be listed anything that is altering the riverwood location. For me only skyrim.esm and dawnguard.esm are altering it. Not sure if it would fall under that area or a different one. A red line will mean a conflict somewhere and clicking the line will show which one it is as it will be red as well in the right area.

Ok, checked as you said and there are hell of red rcords in almost anything, not just riverwood.

As far as only riverwood is concearned, i have reds in the cell department from lighting mods (ELnFX) and Immersive citizens AI

 

I have been using those two since forever though

 

I again ctd-ed after removing Immersive citizens!
