FO4 Clothing Conversions from Skyrim [WIP]

Recommended Posts

I just have quick question regarding building the outfit via batch build. So when I build the outfits to my preset, I keep getting a flat stomach instead of the abs I have on my preset (Abs sliders are set to 100%). I've even added the group "Sky" to my preset but it won't work.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for the good work btw!

When installing you must override the folders installed in BodySlide/ShapeData specifically the CBBE folder and the References folder. They are in the main download file.

I dont know if i missed something, but i cannot find the bodyslide data f.e. catsuit. Result is the outfit is invisible ingame. There are some more outfits that have the same problem. I Installed 1.2 Main file and 1.3 addon...

We have 1.3 main file. So u will have to redownload the big file.. sorry

Hello!

I love your works and please keep it up.

I have a suggestion, i found this post i think its worth a look:

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/69192-jrconversions-uunp-hdt/

It contains a ton of cloths, realy good ones too, without conversion there in the unlikely section you can find even more (not sure you can convert them or not).

and while browwsing them i found this sites:

http://mitakusaner.blog.fc2.com/

http://killingdoll.com/

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/61400-malfdawgs-bodyslide-conversions/

These have insane amounts of high definition cloth mods.

if you like them or feel like doing some it would be much apresiated, there are some sereusly good works with nice textures there.

Ok, I've reinstalled the mod making sure the folders you mentioned are overwritten. But the stomach is still flat and the abs don't seem to show when equipping the outfits. I also noticed that when I batch build the outfits, my preset (when naked) gets overwritten too, so I have to re-build my preset.

Do you have the latest version of bodyslide installed?

Basically just make sure to override everything when installing.

Also the SkyBody outfit builds the default nude body for the game so that is automatically done with a batch build.

Thanks for the links. Many of these I have already been using. Great resources!

Yes, downloaded the latest update of BodySlide and overwritten everything when installing when Nexus Mod Manager. Not sure what going on...

Edit: Just looked at the SkyBody through BodySlide and realized that the body itself is using a single weight slider and a "body builder" muscle slider (which is set to 0%) which is different from my muscle sliders that is default in BodySlide. I think this is the reason why my character's stomach is always flat when equipping the outfits.

P.S. Are you using the default CBBE body when converting the Skyrim outfits?

Nope using a custom CBBE body for the extra sliders. That might explain it. It does have its own ab sliders though.

Yeah, thought that might be the case; had trouble with an armor mod a while back who was using a custom CBBE body as a base.

The few that I've tried are fantastic so thank you for the time you've put into this pack.

I have run into a handful of meshes that have the chest slightly distorted when I fit them to my preset, is that because they were originaly made with a very large bust size in mind?

Either way I'll try to figuer out how to fix them.

If you're still taking requests I have three in mind, maybe you'd be interested.

Another update and a couple fixes.

Tried to get as many requests as I could.

Some weren't possible. Some are still in progress.

Thanks for all your support! Would love some in game screenshots as I am terrible at them.

Here is the update. Override where prompted.

All the new outfits look great! Only think that "bothers" me a bit are some shiny textures in these outfits:

I fixed it by disabling the specular on the material file.

Yep that's intentional to give a shinier, slick leather look but it is as easy as unchecking enable specular in the material file to undo. That's a great tip for those who don't care foe the sheen. Thanks

Ah, alright.

By the way, you said some armors were impossible to port, what armors are those? I'd like to help if I can, I've ported some armors some time ago and they ended pretty good, here's some examples:

Two of them you already ported.

Nice conversions! If you want to send me the second one I would love to put it in.

None are impossible really. For some there are no directly convertible meshes. Thsese require manually scaling and fitting outfits in outfit studio which is tedious. For others, they require texture packs built into Skyrim which I don't have currently installed. I'll try to post specifics later today if anyone can help fill in the gaps.

For example:

Couldn't get the textures right with this one especially the glow maps.

http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=4241021045&uk=3926694705

If you want to take a crack at it I at least have the meshes ported.

This one requires native Skyrim textures I don't have

The other requests I just haven't gotten to yet. If anyone can help me find all the requests in the thread I've missed that would be helpful.
