MissKatie Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 View File Allows you to choose between 9 different green pictures from shadbase.com All of the pictures are shadman's property, I don't take credit for any of his work. Installation:Just drop the zip into Nexus mod manager or another tool that can install fomods (you can install it without tools but you have to find the paths yourself) If you find any bugs or missing images contact me. Ark of Truth Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Does this actually need Nexus Mod Manager or is it just advised?
MissKatie Posted December 13, 2016 Author Posted December 13, 2016 Does this actually need Nexus Mod Manager or is it just advised? Well anything that can install fomod files. I have only tested it on NMM.
yay855 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 When I try to use the pip-boy with this mod installed, the picture is in the foreground instead of the background, but only when my character is in direct lighting; standing in the shadows puts it in the background. How can I fix that?
pyrobladeich Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 The installer only lets me pick the mechanic picture.
MissKatie Posted December 14, 2016 Author Posted December 14, 2016 The installer only lets me pick the mechanic picture. I'll look into it. Thanks for telling me. When I try to use the pip-boy with this mod installed, the picture is in the foreground instead of the background, but only when my character is in direct lighting; standing in the shadows puts it in the background. How can I fix that? I don't think there's a way to fix that sadly. I copied a method someone else used on Nexus, will look into this and see if anyone has a solution.
jkguitar Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 When I try to use the pip-boy with this mod installed, the picture is in the foreground instead of the background, but only when my character is in direct lighting; standing in the shadows puts it in the background. How can I fix that? That is the case with almost all backgrounds and becomes even more apparent when the majority of the image is black

Came here with the same issue, but since its already known I'll just wait patiently until a solution is one day found. Great mod tho. Love Shadman's work so really excited to download this one. Once they can be forced to the background on the pipboy I'll be turning it back on.
nomis92 Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Anyone know how to permanently move the background image to the ... background of the Pip-boy? It keeps jumping to the front, leaving it very hard to actually see what I need to in the weapons and armor sections. I chose the Mechanic, if it helps.
Cloudfaces Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Any chance you could make a more..faded? less bright version of this? find it to hard to read pipboy 1

Just wanted to necro this to see if there was ever a solution found to forcing custom pip-boy backgrounds to remain in background? Doesn't seem to be a problem with an unmodded pip-boy display but unfortunately seems to make displays like this unusable ><
Sterben4 Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 This should be a version that's less bright. shadmanpipboy.zip 2
