mod hair questions.

Okay so I'm no mod maker but I understand the basics. I stopped playing DOA for a while and was thrilled when something as easy as autolink had hit the scene. But I still have a few questions.

 

1. are .---c files related to hair? if not what are they?

2. I used Timmy's tool to make a Marie costume for Hanoka but she was bald. Is this because there was no .---c associated with it?

3. is it possible to add hair using autolink (like having multiple named .---c's) or is there an easy method that works with autolink?
