OutgoingChart7 Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I used to have sky now I have BT. I get 34MB/s Download and 64MB/s Upload. Sky was terrible only having 100kb/s per second. I couldn't live with it.
ScorpiusX Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I had this problem with TalkTalk too, after a lot of investigating I found out that if, like me, you have a dynamic IP Address, sometimes it changes to one that previously had Homesafe activated and blocking this site. All I did was turn off my router and disconnect it for 5 mins, this forced it to get a new IP and I've had no problems since.
stevihj Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 TalkTalk Has Decided You're Filthy Porn Merchants I can't speak for everyone here, but I most certainly am. Brilliant! and well said!
KristenSkye Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 My family had the same trouble, or more specifically, my brother and I, lol. I went home to visit them last year. He just upgraded his BT internet or whatever. We were loading up Battlelog, gearing up to play some Battlefield 4 together, and were pretty excited about it. Because, we are normally living on the opposite ends of the sodding Atlantic and all, we're normally lagging each other out, trying to play on the same servers. Well, no... Instead of loading up Battlelog, we get this other page come up, about "this page is promoting firearm sales and violence" or whatever. Turned out, this new BT thing came with similar settings, and it was something stupid we had to turn off to get it to work. I think it's just a thing that's been going on, particularly in the UK, at the moment. The government and all the papers we're making a big deal out of "Google isn't doing enough to block porn sites", as if it's really their fault. It's a search engine, for crying out load. When, I was little, you'd hear more about how Internet Security and Browsers were giving parents parent control options for that, more correctly encouraging them and saying it's down to them. Now, everyone is just playing the "it's someone elses fault" game, and making a big fuss out of it. I haven't heard of anything like it in the US. Although, maybe that's just us being backwards southerners, who still allow spanking in schools. We hear that one a lot. You know, with all that said, it didn't take me long to find this site. Between this being a community with a huge emphasis on uploading and downloading files... that, and 50 more shades of boobs (the bdsm, slavery, incest, beastiality, etc...), it's probable we did get flagged somewhere, for shit like that. Point is, it's not just TalkTalk.
CoxcombCornking Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 "Filthy Porn Merchants" would imply that someone is getting paid. Right? We're just "Filthy Porn Media Sharers".
