How to add in BodySlide my favorite body ?

Please can someone advise how to add in BodySlide my favorite body ?  I would like to add a body that is not included in Bodyslide. The body has a base UNP.  I tried to create a preset in BodySlide, but is not it.

If it's a UNP base, you have to use UUNP and Bodyslide together, not CBBE and Bodyslide. 

As far as I'm aware, UUNP contains most of the most popular UNP bodies.

this raised a question for me. how do i make a bodyslide of my ingame body and save it? i want to be able to make a backup of it on my external hdd in case of an worst scenario.

Once a body is in-game, you can only backup its meshes. You can't get its BodySlide preset back, unless you saved that beforehand already.
