How to stop followers equipping their default weapons

Does anyone know? I am trying to go for a classy 'me and ma bitches' approach into one of the Casinos after stealing all the gold bars from Sierra Madre, but the power fist and casual shotgun slung around the back are kinda ruining the look...

Someone needs to hire better security, it's only a giant metal glove that they're not finding.

 

And on topic, if it's not showing up in her normal inventory, try using openteammatecontainer, sometimes that shows extra items. If that doesn't work, use the console to remove it manually. Just write down the number so you can add it back later.

This can also result in your extra companions not getting their equipment back when you leave, if it is confiscated. That was a problem in the very early versions of prostitution as well.

I fixed this but it's part of a race mod I made that gives the companions custom textures and all fiends use the Rotten Raider skins.

 

I'm not sure how to go about fixing it if you don't also want to make their weapons playable (ie. you can take them away). But the trick is to find the weapon formlists for each of the companions and remove all the weapons from them.

 

In any case, taking more than one companion into a casino is ill-advised.
