Problem with 7B + Bodytexture

Hi there,

 

i really hope you guys can help me.

 

i am running skyrim with Ninghheim-Race and eihei-body-texture

plus "The Wilds ENB" and several optical enhancements.

... and physics. etc.

 

next step is sexlab with ~100 plugins but this i will start after my body looks perfect.

 

as you can see i have a little issue with the shadow under the boobs.

 

can anyone tell me how to solve this ? or only what could help ?!

the textures is for that body type?

sure.... its real girls texture. Also tried ningheim standard texture... Same issue.

 

could the normal map or HDT influence that?

It's hard to see the exact problem since the pics are low-rez. From what I can tell though, it looks like the normal map might not be compatible with unp-based bodies such as the 7Base series.

 

Can you post a link to the body textures mods you are using as well? I'm not familiar with either one of them. :x

First of i'd suggest posting things like this in the "tech support" forum instead

 

 

To your problem, it seems like you have a CBBE normalmap under your UNP body textures.

I would recommend to only install textures that come in a full pack with all 12 of these:

 

femalebody.dds

femalebody_msn.dds

femalebody_sk.dds

 

femalehands.dds

femalehands_msn.dds

femalehands_s.dds

femalehands_sk.dds

 

femalehead.dds

femalehead_msn.dds

femalehead_s.dds

Unless the description cleary says something like "This is for the XYZ textures version 123 for ABCD!" and you have exactly that version of the texture for your body type already installed, you really shouldn't mix any textures.

It starts with small details like belly button shadows being off, to things like those extreme breast shadows where they don't belong.

 

 

Oh and with graphical problems, you might want to upload the pictures in full size .png quality because it's really hard to see what's going on in yours.

but strangely i copied the textures from normal race to Ningheim so they should be the same.

Looking at the second and third screenies posted, I can't find anything wrong with the textures. None of the tell-tale signs of an incompatible texture set are present. It may very well be that this is how the diffuse map was created to be. What happens is that some body texture authors try to emulate the natural shadowing of the body (i.e. the shading on the underboob) and lighting mods and/or ENB can sometimes cause these regions to become more pronounced than they should be. The 7Base body series also has slightly elevated boobs which exposes the area under the boobs which normally isn't seen in other body mods. It is entirely possible that the author of the body texture did not mean for this region to be seen at all by the user.

Yep try those SK maps so you have at least something.

 

On the 3rd picture on the right, you can see the typical glitch that looks like "surgical scars" under the breasts - note that these textures are entirely in beta stage and have no normalmaps, specular maps or subsurface maps. I wouldnt recommend to use them.

 

And with all respect, i have no idea why the creator of the "real girls" textures made them with those huge "scars".

Tested them once, and immediately uninstalled them after i saw those scars and the seams between the legs.

Often it helps to inspect textures in a graphics program to understand this better. This looks good in the texture, but you'll recognize those tiny wrinkles as huge "scars" as i called them.

well, i tried - and changed the textures to eihei's, and SG textures as well.

also the _SK files.

i deleted the d3d.dll from the ENB too

 

finally i copied the complete textures-female folder to ningheim-female

here is the result.

 

 

could it be something in the meshes or skeletton files ?

i installed this body many times but never had this problem

I discovered another thing, your hands!
you have a "meshes problem"!
picture 1 the finger are mutilated, especially the little finger!
picture 2 you have a hand seam
either Is it because of skeleton or you need other hands that are compatible with your body.

I recall 7b  has a body normal map specifically to fix an underboob shadowing issue, you can get it from it's nexus page. Shocky's 7b conversion page also has a file link related to the same problem I think. I take it you've tried using that?

The mystery is why the ningheim has the shadow and the hand gap, while the vanilla nord does not.

 

But i can tell just by the abs on the left ningheim pic that there's a different normalmap installed.

it is no problem at all a custom race to give any desired body. provided a meshes and texture folder exists.

I absolutely know nothing about modding but I have all my races where my desired body.

hm..... im still trying.

 

i discovered some "body-scales"-RaceMenu things causing this shadow problem.

the body is the same like default race-body but when scaling some boobs via "body-scales" - the shadow occurs.

 

the problem is: the boobs look very strange after installation.

 

this is the first time i really se such a problem....

 

remember this happens to UNPB and 7BASE as well.

 

dont tell me this is "normal" ?!?!

 

 

... maybe i messed around too much with HDT and possible skeletons !?!?

this is not normal, the breast looks stretched.
I suspect it is the skeleton, you must once "to try out different", there are now a lot of them.

Other than that, i haven't seen that problem since back in the days of XPMS 0.93. Although i very rarely find time to run SexLab or even play the actual RPG-skyrim.
