ButchDiavolo
I did a completely new install of everything Skyrim and Sexlab, this time following the STEP installation. While my Skyrim looks amazing and purrs like a kitten (speed wise), I now have an annyoing texture issue with avatar feet.  The feet are all strange and black/grey mottled and there appears to be a kind of seam around the hip area, as if two different textures are meeting there. I remember I had this same issue a long time ago, but I can't remember how I fixed it! And it is starting to annoy me.  Can any of you wise people please point me in the right direction? If any info is needed, please let me know.  Thanks in advance  Edit: I thought it might be a good idea to add my load order, so here it is:   Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmUnofficial Skyrim Patch.espDawnguard.esmUnofficial Dawnguard Patch.espHearthFires.esmUnofficial Hearthfire Patch.espDragonborn.esmUnofficial Dragonborn Patch.espSkyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esmApachiiHair.esmSchlongs of Skyrim - Core.esmSexLab.esmSexLabAroused.esmApachiiHairMales.esmClimatesOfTamriel.esmLanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esmMFVM.esmSexLab Attraction.esmApachiiHairFemales.esmHighResTexturePack01.espHighResTexturePack02.espHighResTexturePack03.espUnofficial High Resolution Patch.espCutting Room Floor.espDD_Dawnguard Additions.espBeards.espAuto Unequip Ammo.espBrawl Bugs CE.espSexLabStopCombat.espDD_Dragonborn Additions.espPresets 2-3.espBrothers.espGuard Dialogue Overhaul.espWeapons & Armor Fixes_Remade.espClothing & Clutter Fixes.espimp_helm.espMarryMe.espChesko_LoreBasedLoadingScreens.espMighty Beasts - Vampire Lord.espBetterQuestObjectives-Hearthfire.espDawnguardRuneWeaponsFXSReplacer.espMighty Beasts - Werewolf.espDisease Descriptions.espSexLab Submit.espElemental Staves.espAppropriately Attired Jarls Redux.espMoreNastyCritters.espBrows.espHousecarlsrevamp.espMFVM_Hearthfire_Patch.espADS.espMasculinizedLevelListsDB.espSOS - VectorPlexus Muscular Addon.espMasculinizedLevelListsDG.espSOS - VectorPlexus Regular Addon.espMasculinizedLevelLists.espMoss Rocks.espMoss Rocks_DB.espSexLab Cumshot.espSexLabNudeCreatures.espTheEyesOfBeauty.espORM-Arvak.espProudspireRemodel.espComplete Crafting Overhaul_Remade.espExplosiveBoltsVisualized.espDead Body Collision.espNPC_Overhaul_V_1_.espHelgen Reborn.espSexLab Romance.espMidasSkyrim.espRaceMenuPluginXPMSE.espRaceMenu.espSC07SexLabRandomAttack.espNine_Divines_Amulet.espSchlongs of Skyrim.espSexLab Approach.espDifferently Ebony.espSexLabNudeCreaturesDB.espSexLabNudeCreaturesDG.espSkyFalls + SkyMills + DG + DB.espSDO Full-LOD - The Morthal Swamp Light.espDistant DetailHF.espHentaiCreatures.espSDO Full-LOD - Waterfall Effects.espPoint The Way.espHearthfireChimneys.espRealisticWaterTwo.espAOS.espSkyUI.espTradeBarter.espaMidianBorn_ContentAddon.espAMB Glass Variants Lore.espSTEP Core Patch.espBetterQuestObjectives.espBetter Skill and Quest Books Names.espBarenziahQuestMarkers.espBetterQuestObjectives-BSaQBPatch.espBetterQuestObjectives-Dawnguard.espaMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.espBetterQuestObjectives-AMBSkyforgePatch.espNonEssentialChildren.espParalysis.espRealisticWaterTwo - Legendary.espRun For Your Lives.espUSKP_NPCoverhaul_Patch.espSPTConsistentOlderPeople.espWhen Vampires Attack.espdD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.espdD-No Spinning Death Animation.espiHUD.espimp_help_dbrn.esplakeviewdock1.2.espSMIM-Merged-All.espSkyrimImprovedPuddles-DG-HF-DB.espSFO - Dragonborn.espSDO Full-LOD - Whiterun Trundra Creeks.espSkyrim Flora Overhaul.espSpousesEnhanced.espThe Paarthurnax Dilemma.espBetterQuestObjectives-PaarDilemmaPatch.espNecessary Map Markers (all files included).espGildergreen Regrown.espNoxUE2.00.espSDO Full-LOD - Giant Campfires.espAlternate Start - Live Another Life.espFastTravelAlle.espBashed Patch, 0.esp  Link to comment
Content Consumer
I don't know if this would help you at all, but someone else had a very similar problem... http://www.loverslab.com/topic/36732-burnt-feet/ Link to comment
ButchDiavolo
Hmm, I checked that already, but I don't use CBBE or anything like that. I know it has to do with textures being overwritten by another mod, but I can't figure out which one it is. Are the feet part of the main body dds? Link to comment
Content Consumer
Yep, feet are part of the body's texture file. The poster of burned feet was having a different problem, though, because his body texture file was just fine. He ended up fixing it by just reinstalling the body mod, all of which leads me to believe it might have been a mesh issue. Are you using the sundracon body mod or something? You might check the body texture file of that one and seeing if there are any obvious issues, but my guess would be no, since there's not much that modifies body texture files for just the feet. Â You haven't run anything like ordenor texture optimizer or anything, have you? That might be responsible somehow. But I'd guess it's just that somehow the foot mesh got screwed up, you might need to download and reinstall the body mod... Link to comment
ButchDiavolo
I fixed it! YAY *pats hisself on the back*  I had a brainwave (or -fart) and checked SOS in MO and saw that the male body textures were being overwritten by another mod (Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized). So, clever me, put the SOS male body textures in the appropriate folder of Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized, and hey presto! No more ugly feet and no more leg seam  So recap: the SOS files were being overwritten. You can fix this by checking in MO which mod creates a conflict with the SOS files (malehands_1_msn.dds and malebody_1_msn.dds) and then physically putting those two files in the appropriate MO mod folder, which in my case was Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized.  Thanks for your help CoCo Link to comment
johann7124
You could have fixed it by moving SOS lower in the left side of MO. Link to comment
ButchDiavolo
Yes I know, but that would have created the "missing or outdated papyrusUtil" error. This solution seemed more, um... elegant? Link to comment
