Help needed with making a shop with opening hours

Like the title says I'm trying to do a shop that is locked during the night and open during the day. It has one NPC living in it, who also belongs to the owner faction of the interior cell. I've been looking at the vanilla skyrim shops, but can't figure out what I'm missing, currently the doors stay locked all the time and entering counts as trespassing as the NPC starts yelling for guards. The faction doesn't actually have a vendor set, which might be needed(?), as I don't really need the NPC to be an actual vendor.

 

Any ideas?
