The ability to post links?

I realize that the fact that I can't post links yet is likely because my account is still 'relatively' new (may 2014).  I've been a "lurker" since I started modded FNV however, even though I don't post much, and I can't seem to find a rule in place that explains exactly what is required to post links? 

 

Is it a certain amount of time, reputation, permission from admins, or just a certain amount of posts?

 

I've looked through the community rules, stickies, etc.. and just don't see it.  Am I missing something?  Anyone happen to know what is needed, in particular?

It has to do with your post count you need 2 to be able to post links and since you have 4 you should be able to now post links.

Sorry to hijack your topic, but I wanted to add that smilies are considered as links, I learned it the hard way, is this supposed to be a bug or a feature?

I think the system considers them the same as image links, even if it's on the local host.
