Okay, my female player character wandered into Graywinter Watch near Whiterun, the inhabitants of Trolls. I got into a submitted state, got some DD added to my character, then I entered the world of the bizarre...

 

Frankly I don't know what to think of this. This only happens when Submit puts devices on character. I suspect its a combination of things I have tried.

 

This is a fresh steam install, and a new character (well she's level ~10 right now but her saves are fairly clean since I haven't been removing much of anything...)

This happened once before with the same character... Also during submit and DD devices. But that time it seemed to pivot around the blindfold. WHen the blindfold was added, everything went south and I got the strange twisted visuals above.

 

Could it have something to do with my current Immersive 1st Person View and DD  ??

Holy crap, this is ... peculiar. 
I'd advice another installation of the skeleton, and make sure everything's overwritten by it. Run FNIS too. I know, sounds pretty generic, but the twisted limbs comes from the animation, I believe, and not the devices, which means it's related to your skeleton or behavior updating.

Thanks... Please don't yet at me, but everything i've been reading lately is to *not* overwrite the skeleton files. For instance, I followed this HDT guide in this current installation:

"One final note on the skeleton is that you should avoid installing anything over it."

 

Guess I've been following this because I don't understand the innards of skeletons and meshes that well...

 

What am I to think? I will try running FNIS again and see if that fixes anything first...

No, no, I meant like, overwrite stuff with the skeleton, it's the skeleton that should overwrite everything else, not the contrary, so what you've heard is correct.

 

I played a lot with PSB body before blabba made the hdt one, and I've never had an issue like that then. It may come from an issue with the outfits from skeuomorphs which may have different weights than blabba's HDT body ?

 

Aren't there some devious devices adapted to the HDT body mesh with the correct weighting ? You could try that, and if it doesn't work, install your skeleton once again.

Just to clarify, this is what I installed/ran:

 

1. Realistic Ragdolls and Force: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/601/?

2. XP32 Max Skeleton Extended: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/676-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended/, overwriting everything. I also said Yes on using HDT in the fomod installer.

3. CBBE and  Bodyslide2/Outfitstudio

4. HDT Body 1.4.7: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/658-hdt-body/

5. PSB 2.07: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/511-psb-pregnancy-scaling-body-for-bodyslide2/

6. I generated a PSB nude Body in Bodyslide 2, after tweaking sliders just a slight amount.

6. Installed Remodeled Armor for CBBE Bodyslide  TBBP HDT and generated meshes in BS2.

7. Installed the Havok Object

7. Installed hdt physics extensions 14.28

8. Setup the [HAVOK] settings

9. Installed all the base DD mods (assets, integration, expansion, etc)

10. Installed Skeuomorph's assets: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/539-devious-assets-for-bodyslide-cbbe-psb-hdt-bodies/. I selected the  Devious_Assets_PSB_Bodyslide_2.7.5.7z file.

Is it possible that I should not have installed #5 at all???

 

I'm confused between wanting HDT and PSB features in the body. So I wasn't 100% sure about which ones to install...

Yep, HDT Body has a belly node, so you don't really need the PSB body. (Which means the HDT body has belly growth already and has better weighting than the PSB body). 

What you should do is : Uninstall Devious Devices for PSB, uninstall the PSB body, uninstall the HDT Body. After that you should 

Install blabba's HDT Body
Download and install the Devious Devices for HDT

Generate your HDT body mesh
Then batch build your devious devices for HDT + your Remodeled armor for HDT Tbbp

I had installed both the HDT Body 1.4.7 and the zecoron's PSB 2.0.7z (from: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/511-psb-pregnancy-scaling-body-for-bodyslide2/). 

 

Then i picked "PSB Body" in Bodyslide. Now I wonder if that was superflous?? It sounds like HDT Body 1.4.7 supports both HDT (duh) and Pregnancy scaling bones?

 

If I just just go generate the meshes in Bodyslide "HDT CBBE Bodyslide" (I believe that is what HDT Body 1.4.7 is called in BS), which Skeuomorph file should I use here: http://www.loverslab.com/files/download/539-devious-assets-for-bodyslide-cbbe-psb-hdt-bodies/

From the sounds of it the BigBelly slider setting 50-60% is somewhat iffy. I set mine at 40% to avoid any pregnancy torpedoes...

 

Otherwise, it's look very good. Went to the same location, got bound with the same elements, and no weird bizarro visuals...

Ha ha... Thanks Shinji... Btw, you last YT video made me laugh - they always do. I especially like the segue to bouncing boobs from skirts and hair ... "... men from all over the world joined forces ..."
