ut4m4ru Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 File Name: Frostbite Spider texture fix. File Submitter: ut4m4ru File Submitted: 21 Apr 2014 File Category: Models & Textures  Figured I would post this fix for the missing textures on the legs of the frostbite spiders when using Bestiality Extras. The texture for the hairs on the legs is what was causing the issue, it was not linked correctly in the mesh. I have re linked it and it has been working fine in my game. So since I could not find a fix for this but had to do it my self I decided to post it.RequirementsNone, though it wont do anything for anyone who does not use Bestiality ExtrasInstallation Just unzip and copy the Mesh and Texture folder to your Data folder for skyrim.RemovalRemove the folder frostbitespider in both mesh and texture foldersMesh folder is "data/meshes/actors/frostbitespider"Texture folder is "data/textures/actors/frostbitespider"  Click here to download this file
ut4m4ru Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 I had to re upload the file. I forgot to link the texture for the spiders sexual organs as they were still purple. All is fixed and good to go. Just re-download the file. The files name has not changed but the mesh has. just a FYI.
Pyrus Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Thank you! Â I've been wondering what was up with that. Â Figured I may have gone crazy with a texture optimizer at some point and broke it myself.
bradleyh Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Another Thank You for fixing the purple spider legs!
Wolfoftheshadows Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I don't have to fight purple frost spiders anymore? I can say I'm not sad to see them go and I can travel back into the frozen tundras.
DeepBlueFrog Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Any chance of having this mod merged with Creatures extra?
ut4m4ru Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 Any chance of having this mod merged with Creatures extra? Â You would have to suggest that to the maker of that mod. All I did was fix an issues with a mesh for the frostbite spiders I did not make the mesh just fixed an issue.Â
Spyder Arachnid Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Such a minor issue, but a very welcome fix. So glad someone finally did this. Thanks.
Redflyingmonkey Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 So it was a texture path issue ... I was too lazy to find the cause of it myself, so thanks a lot man !
