AKM Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I've noted a trend in music videos. These artists (who admittedly are not required to make videos for their songs) tend to make minor, or in some cases major mistakes in their videos. Anyone else notice this? Here are two examples. 1. Kesha/Pitbull Timber. 2:20, 2:21. Two shots of Kesha cutting wood with an ax. Only one problem, the wood is horizontal. This is not how one cuts wood with an ax/maul. The weight of the head pushes the wedge through the wood, splitting it. This effect is maximized by putting the piece to be split upright and hitting the end, not horizontal. 2. Far East Movement: Fly Like a G6 3:27-3:30. Two shots again, of one of these guys holding an Astronaut-esque helmet... as they walk toward a fully pressurized private jet. Seriously folks? Do your homework. Please. Nobody wears those things but astro/cosmonauts, and those who fly extremely high performance jets at the edge of the atmosphere (a la SR-71 Blackbird) who have the pressure suit to back it up! Sheesh! (Perhaps this should really just be a rant in the rant thread. Please someone else come up with something, so as to justify a new thread.)
gregathit Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I like twinkies. A LOT!!!! Does that help?
Cynical Misanthrope Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Not really the same thing, but I just find it really annoying when drummers are hitting the cymbals or making drum fills when you can clearly hear there isn't any of that at the moment.
