p.s. I finally am interested if you will find some, which like to create a new game....we had two here in the past...which really started with such a hard project.

The most popular engines are those two-but be careful-you can not sell your created product without becoming a slave of @Screws, oh, sorry, I mean of course SCREWED:

I really cannot tell if you are just making a joke or trying to attack me in some way. Then again, it's a bit difficult to read what you write most of the time. (No offense meant, English is a weird language lol) I think we can just say we'll agree to disagree on this topic and be respectful about it. It really doesn't paint a good picture for either party to take an aggressive or offensive tone with each other. Can always disagree and be respectful without resulting to insults or insinuations about another's stance.

Just to be clear, i don't disagree with you on principle. I just find the proposition very unfeasible and impractical when put in practice cause people won't act the exact way you're expecting they will. The core of my argument is that instead of trying to create a whole new platform for this kind of stuff it's better to make existing mechanisms more effective at what you're trying to accomplish, i still think that people's interest in modding games depend on how engaging the game is from a player perspective (modders are also players after all) so there's no way Risk Of Rain 2 will drive the same interest level as Skyrim even with monetary incentive.

Likewise, i always enjoy discussions where people are arguing in good faith.

Yeah, I do have to agree with you on that Otaku. I tend to be pretty idealistic when it comes to my ideas lol. Some people misinterpret my actual motivations behind my ideas, like I believe T.ara has? Still uncertain about them, since I swear I mean no offense by this, have a hard time understanding them. I think I mentioned before, my main goal with this idea is to potentially bring more modders into games that haven't gotten any love from the lewd modding community. Money can move mountains, so I don't see why it couldn't breathe life into a lack of a modding community lol. Even if the goal changed from fun to financial gain. Honestly, I'd rather not have to present an idea like this. I would 100% absolutely love if every game got as much love from modders as Skyrim. Where passionate people would work on all varieties of games and no game was left wanting. Sadly not the world we live in, as much as I wish it were the case.

Also I do enjoy having discussions with good faith arguments. It's more beneficial to all involved rather then just screeching at others because someone doesn't like what they say lol.

I do find it quite funny though, that many of the people arguing against this idea because it should be fun and not financial... also have patreon accounts or other subscription based sites they are a part of that they advertise... It's just a bit ironic and makes their own arguments come across in bad faith since they make financial gains already. Not going to mention any names but those people know who they are.

Still, I am grateful at the civility you have displayed Otaku. Definitely a cut above the rest even if we disagree. lol

So much arrogant gate keepie talk on this thread.

Its a pragamtic idea , fiverr or upwork for lewd mods. Moneys value isnt fungible , do you know how much stuff 40 dollars american can buy in the phillipines or thailand or whatever?

Plenty of people (tens of thoysands) do web dev and programming etc for a living in countries that arent the US.

This thread tosses around wages and "passion" like third world folks arent all over those sites thankful for every gig so they can pay for medicine and utilities and food on the table.

Its absolutely a top notch idea in terms of having identified a big hole in a market with value on the table , first world gamers who like NSFW stuff but dont have the time or inclination to learn and do it themselves.

There is a large ethical issue however. Even if its a voluntary transaction, if nsfw modding pays better / is more stable etc than other options than that incentivizes persons who may not value the work and have a sense of dislike or disgust to do it anyway. To me that seems sort of predatory (in the context of my example where needy persons would be the ones doing the work). Exploitative , as the porn industry often is.

Then of course the pragamatism of building the site , checking ID's. Making sure it isnt breaking laws. Expensive and time consuming. So the site owner would have to take a cut of work done to keep the lights on , but now were back to the profit motive and exploitation questions.

These arent by any means deal breakers , just things that wouldnneed considering.
