I usually don't have need for a SL animation, but if I do, I usually just play with the positioning hotkeys to make it work.  Alternatively, when I was looking for information around this, I found that Billyy works on some animations that work for short actors, but they require paying and I didn't really have a use for them.  Also I think Babo made a few bigguy animations that might work, since they handle a height difference? Maybe that is a place to start?

Hey, has anyone gotted the "expression" tab to show up in racemenu?

 

I looked inside the "meshes > actors > character > facegenmorphs > expressive facegen morphs.esl" to see the races.ini file

 

I saw that the shortstack races were missing the "ssp" prefix that got added a few updates ago and so I added that in, but the expressions tab is still empty in racemenu.

Thanks for catching that. Must have missed that file after I did some cleanup on form names.  Anyways, I fixed that file and it seems to be working for me.

 

Uploaded a new version that fixes some issues with DeepGnome skin and the above mentioned ini fix.

Okay, the extra racemenu sliders seem to be working for me now. I used BAE extractor to open up the racemenu BSA and then added all the shortstack races to the  races.ini file found at

 

"meshes > actors > characters > facegenmorphs > racemenu.esp"

 

I'll attach the zip file of my edit, just in case anyone else was like me and couldn't use a lot of the racemenu sliders with the shortstack races. I'm not sure if it breaks other mods, but I haven't noticed anything yet. It activates the racemenu elf ears slider too.

Managed to make a few followers with three very different skillsets.

Meet Aqua, Nora, and Nette. 

 

Aqua scouts for threats and summons water elementals.

Nora heals and throws poison mushrooms.

Nette makes sure guards dont bother me....by any means necessary. Whether that be by a taste of the sweetroll or bashing skulls with her massive warhammer.

 

Still needs some polish but meh, its a start.

 

 

P.S.

Where did you get the Mara statue in the back there? XD

Those three look pretty cool! I think I only  have 4 goblin followers in my game so we could always use some more.

 

I remember there was a female follower that could transform into a really buff werewolf. She also had a hammer with a super  slow swinging speed (I think each swing took 6 seconds or so , I forget), but it did massive damage when it finally hit something.

 

Ah this is probably one of PS boss statue replacers. Basically you can edit statues by loading them into bodyslide, scaling them down and sneaking a cbbe/unp body into the mold. Once conformed, you can bodyslide it like any armor. Then all you have to do is scale the statue back up and rotate it into position when you're done. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Psboss permissions don't allow people to upload edits of his work, but once you get the hang of it you'll be remodeling  the world in no time.

Wow, Gods work!! Is it wrong if i ask for you to share those followers? Dont know how to add npcs in skyrim yet. But still amazing work! (english is not my native language btw xd)

Found another workaround get Goblin Race to work like a more formal custom race. Ill have to remake my presets so they hopefully dont show up as nightmare fuel when loaded. Meanwhile I created a few more Gobos to complete the set. Maybe give them all a patron Daedra and start experimenting with questing and AI Behaviors(practically a novice on this stuff).

End of the year/holiday/work kept me busy.  Going to come back to this now, so some updates in the near-ish future.  Been thinking of adding some quests/story to give a goblin playthrough a bit more gobliny objectives and feel.  Possibly even an extension to Alternate Start for goblins only.  I need more practice with the CK though, so there is that.

So I don't have ZaZ, but its entirely possible.  The workaround, that I can think of, is to manually edit the bodyslide files to use the right preset.  Its going to be a bunch of text editor work, but it should do the trick.

Hello Terrible, so I'm attempting to use this mod, however, I don't have any available slider presets and I wish to use the one I currently run, but it's CBBE, so I don't know if I need a conversion tool or just paste my sliders between where you commented to in the xml file or..? I'm very confused, sorry.

The shortstack race has custom body and texture paths. Paste your own body nifs into

 

meshes > shortstack > actros > character > character assets

 

 

and textures go inside

 

textures > shortstack > female (or kobold female for the argonian shortsack)

I downloaded high poly head from vector plexis website even though I ain't gay. You can do the same and download from other websites.

There's a very large difference between going to a site that has gay stuff on it and going to a site that has child porn on it, one risks me getting arrested

This is a bust for me but I have another(more labor intensive) idea.

 

Manually adding the outfits I want to work via Creation Kit. On a positive note, I created a preset for a little Shortstack goblin to test the mod and its motivating me to come up with other plans.

I can't get this mod to work, the races don't show up in RaceMenu. I'm using the 1.1.1 version.

 

Also, why is Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch.esp listed as a master? It isn't mentioned at all in the mod text. There also doesn't seem to be an esp with that name on the Nexus page for Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch.
