spoonsinger Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Random splrug post, but a good take on how to light a scene. 1
KoolHndLuke Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 (edited) "When men were men and sheep were nervous" Kidding... Lee Marvin was great. About lighting.... I've seen some films/games pull it off brilliantly. Other's not so much. One scene that comes to mind (don't remember from what) played with light and really dark shadows from a window to illuminate only their eyes and perhaps their mouth a little. It really gave the scene a whole new level of intensity. Think it was an Alfred Hitchcock film. Personally prefer a higher contrast and a little less gamma in my games as well since I think it helps with depth and clarity. Also think most games could benefit from less exposure- both where imaging is concerned and possibly in other senses to a degree... Edited November 13, 2022 by KoolHndLuke 1
