You may try to parent your backpack mod's esp into Haubergeon's esp.

That way, you can use the script applied on the backpack mods's rings into any Haubergeon's armor parts that use ring slot.

 

I do that to almost all my mods that have a high heels sabatons/boots.

I parent the esp to highheels's esp. 

So, any sabatons/boots in my mod, will increase the player's heights when equipped; depends on what script you choose.
