So... just asking... Anybody having issues accessing certain households? Either visit or trying to play as... For example if i try to play Goth Family i will get stuck on a infinite loading screen, same if i try to visit. And there are other family's where if i try to play the game will give me an error while still on the game and recommend me to restart the game.

All mods should be up to the and made sure to follow instruction plus the MCCC setup. Maybe someone runned into the same problem🤔

Let's use the Goth household to help fix things.

First create a new save just in case. On the map screen, Save As...

Once that's done, we can continue. You might get an error from Wicked Whims about saving on the map when/if the household loads, but you can ignore that.

Select the Goth household on the map, but don't pay them. Instead, try going into build mode on that lot. If that works, demolish the house. Now go back to the map, and select the household again and try playing them. If the household loads, then some object in the house is broken. If it doesn't load, then it's something on the sims themselves that's breaking the game. Exit the game, don't save.

At this point you'll need the Sims 4 Tray Importer. Download that, then go back into the game. If the house was broken, go into build mode again and save the house to your library. If the sims themselves were broken, enter edit mode from the map. Save them to your library.

Now open Tray Importer. On the left you'll see a column showing all your saves houses, households, etc. Select whatever was broken, the house or sims. Click the CC tab and look for red and orange text. Orange means it's a duplicate and red means it's missing something or just straight up broken. You can choose how to handle the dupes. The way I do it, is I usually delete older files or files with weird names that make it harder to know what it is, or if I can't be bothered and it's not causing issues, I ignore it. With reds, it depends. If the red is like a hex code underneath a blue dotted item, I ignore it. If the item itself is red, I remove it. If I want to know what something is before making the decision I use Sims4Studio to open the file and take a look at it.

Note: Tray Importer lets you right click an object on the list and open the folder it's in so you can go right to the CC in question.

Once you've dealt with issues, try loading the save again. If it loads, grats. If not then you're going to have to figure it out the hard way.

If the household still fails to load, you'll need to open it in build mode and look for items in the house that are CC and remove them manually. Usually what I do is create a section on the lot to put all the CC in. Then I delete the house keeping only the objects I need to know about on it. Then I open that nearly empty lot in Tray Importer. Then I take each item out of my folders. If I don't want any of the CC I've taken out I just play the game without it. If I do want them, then I load the game without them in there. If everything loads, then it was definitely one of these items. Then I create a new folder in mods and add each item back one by one into this new folder. Each time I load the game to see if it breaks. Once I've found all the broken items, I delete them completely and usually take a break and do something else for a while. Then I play the game again as normal.

So far everything runs smoothly on my pc other than clicking on any computer there is a lot of lag? I downloaded everything on a fresh install. after about 30 sec to a min the wheel pops up. Tried to look and see if anybody else was having that issues but didn't see anything. It isn't game breaking by any means just was curious is all.

Lumpinou made a post earlier this week talking about that kind of behavior in the game.

Thx for the response.

Found the problem.

Wasnt related to the CC itself for the Sims of the household since i managed to load it on the Creator, but not on the Lot, at the end it looks like something went really bad with BOTH "Meaningful Stories" mod and FalseHope traits.... Now... I dont understand why my computer did this but when i deleted the mods and reintalled them the error keep on going, then i tried to change the order of when i introduce the mods to the folder and what got me through to fix it was...

1. Delete those mods

2. Start the game

3.Close without saving

4. Install meaningful stories first

5.Run the game and the save and close it down again without saving

6.And finally add all FalseHope traits again and the issue disappeared

My pc must be on crack or something but atleast i can get through all households without the game crashing XD

Hello everyone.

I installed the files as instructed. However the game takes a long time to load into the main menu, and when I try to load the save. the game does not load at all, it is stuck on the spinning jewel which goes on forever. I installed every file from the list and the CC, and yet the save does not load.

Well, try to define "long time", given the number of mods it's a likley side effect to have even 5-10 minutes long loading time. For me the single thing that massively reduced loading times was to untick the option "Show Mod list at launch", but probably I was the only one who didn't already know it.
For the "Save does not load" you mean that it crashes? if so the good old method of the 50/50 is still the way to go to identify if there is an outdated or corrupted mod.

So, i just download the save, also all the mods in the list, but when i load the game there is a lot of sims without a household, can i put them in some empty houses or not? Also can i delete some, o they are needed for the story?

Yes to all the above. Only reason alot of the sims dont have households is because the save was made before the apartments dlc ea dropped so there were far too many sims in the game than there were horses/apartments to put them in. I assum the next save file to drop will remedy that... or not due to there still being a TON if sims in game and probably more on the way

I regularly delete sims I don't want around for whatever reason. Like in one version of this save, I got rid of any of the "extra" sims from other games or tv shows. So the Scooby Doo people, for example, or all the ones from Summer Time Saga.

I also regularly replace, remove, or relocate existing buildings and sims.

For example, I have my own version of that slum hotel they built in Oasis using the existing building there as a base to expand and remodel what I could. I turn it into a rental and move each sim pair into their own apartment. I have enough space that I can move additional sims  in when I need the moved and they fit the feel of the place.

I recommend making sure to create a new separate save for yourself and keep THIS save as it's own thing that you can come back to if you want to for whatever reason. Then creating new saves from your own version.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the quiet. I got school being my main priority and haven't really been paying attention to the thread.

I'd like to specifically thank @Faolon for doing my job for me in helping y'all with issues.

So a few announcements.

0.4 will be the last update for awhile when it comes to this save.

There is a considerable amount of new and changed content that I pretty much abandoned the changelog I was keeping because the save is almost unrecognizable. I'm sure you notice all the notes I put on mods being added and dropped.

This doesn't mean that 0.5 won't ever be a thing but after working on this for like... what? 2 years? Maybe more? Time is a construct I don't understand. Point being is that I'm burnt out. I want to do something new which I'll explain later. All of the collaborators will be continuing making sims that you're free to add to the save. I'll do that for you whenever I feel like I can work on 0.5

Currently version 0.4 of the save has over 700 sims. That does not include easter eggs (99% of which have been removed) and unplayed households which are just Maxis sims I left alone.

When you download the save, I HIGHLY suggest you delete a lot of those if you care about long loading screens. I don't so it doesn't bother me but we have like 100 porn stars, 100 college students, 100 high quality NPCs and 100 remade Maxis sims from Sims 3, 2, and 1 as well as spin offs like Urbz. Delete whatever doesn't meet your interest. They're all pretty apparent in what they are.

The save should run smoother as I actually did rebuild it a second time. It didn't take long and I actually fixed a lot of issues with family trees and bugged lots/families.

I will be putting a bunch of homeless sims in apartments as others have noted as an option. Though there will still be many homeless ones because again... 700 sims.

Also I've had multiple people messaging me about having their sims included, please stop. All of the contributors for mrrakkon's world have been individuals that he has worked with personally, people those contributors had worked with personally, or people we approached specifically because of their work fitting really well with the narrative of the world we're making.

Assistance like @sweetgirl99's gym redesign was welcome but if you want your personal sim or a recreation of your wife/girlfriend in the save, you can add it yourself when you play.

So what's left? Ubrite Cheerleaders. That's all I'm waiting on. Once @mrrakkonn finishes them. I'll put them in the save, set up their relationships and then upload to LoversLab. Please do not bother him about it.

How is the save effected without Easter Eggs? @SocialOwl let us borrow some sims from his save who have a slightly similar dynamic to the Summertime Saga characters. Though now they fit better into the save's lore compared to Dark Cookie's characters. I suggest you all go play his save as well if you like them because it is far more expansive with those characters as well as having a lot more of his original sims and remakes of Maxis sims.

What are you working on next? Well I've been replaying basically every sims game BUT Sims 4. Including the PC and console games. So my next big project is called "The Legacy Saves." which I am working in partnership with @Zizo225 as he has the same passion for Maxis sims as I do. The other contributors may be involved but they have not made any commitments yet.

Basically there will be multiple saves.

Sims 1

Sims Bustin' Out

Sims 2 Console

Sims 2 PC

Sims 2 PSP.

These are 5 different points in the original timeline. Sims and locations from the other side games will be present. I will be curating a mod list to make the game function and look similar to previous games. Including optional difficulty mods.

I'll make them in chronological order so all I'll have to do is stack on top of them.

I will also be linking to rather well made "challenges" which are gameplay guides to simulate the console games of the past.

This should have a much faster production time as I'm not waiting on sims and houses from 10 other people and we won't be going anywhere near the 700 sims found in this save.

I will note that the saves will not have drastic changes from the continuity as you've seen in the Maxis sims in mrrakkon's world but you can view them as "Sims 1 with sex!" as Zizo and I have found that the Sims 1 era was kinda explicit in some instances (Sims 1 on the console had actual nudity you could see with a cheat code) and both Sims 2 and 3 had a lot of fun(sexy) implications and social dynamics.

The CC folder will also be MUCH smaller. You won't be downloading 40+ Gigs of CC for any of my future projects as I will be acting as a project lead while this save more of a true collaboration as mrrakkon was rather hands off aside from some loose guidelines.

The differences in each save is that characters will be aged up. Some will appear in future saves but not past ones because there was nothing really specific to do with them. Buildings will change entirely, be replaced, or added. For example, the Goth household has had their house burn down like 3 times.

Do not expect many non-maxis sims as I've grabbed references from all over the franchise to fill NPC roles. We may or may not include real people as the Sims have had many celebrity cameos over the years.

The Non-Maxis sims I can confirm I will be keeping in the save are @PECO.'s as I will be incorporating Cinerotique as the world's primary porn studio since... well The Sims doesn't have one in lore.

Okay but what about after that? I have a lot of ideas. I'll go back to the list once this next project is complete.

Yes. It's on the front page. You should read it.

Thank you for the reply. I did read it before and only saw "Support has been given to all expansion, game, and stuff packs. Kits are entirely unsupported as neither myself nor mrrakkon own kits." Didn't know if that meant any combination of said expansion, game, or stuff pack or if all was needed.

I didn't keep track of everything used but we've done SOMETHING to all the worlds that come with packs. So you'll need those at minimum.

Uploaded the new save and torrent.

I left the older save up just in case anyone wants to mess around with it.

I'll be seeding the torrents for the next couple days.

I'm going to be taking a looong break as I finish up my university finals.

Have fun everyone. Watch out for chafing.

I was just browsing the page, looking at the new height slider images, when things changed as I refreshed the page. I realized I was looking at the new 0.4. I am too excited right now! Good luck with your studies. Thank you for everything. When I finish the download, I'll seed the new torrent as well.
