[Query] How many Forms can a FormList hold?

Arrays in Papyrus is limited to 128 members. I thought the same is True for FormLists as well. xEdit is allowing me to go overboard the 128 item as am creating a FormList. Creation Kit wiki doesn't mention about the size limit. So anyone who has already experimented on the size of FormLists can say the limiting figure for FormLists?

It's definitely more than 128, I have seen working examples of FormLists with over 500 entries.

 

Manipulating them gets really slow when they get large, though.
