What mod caused this? "[E] Can't Do That"

So after playing around w/ DD mod family and Simple Slaves, I've come across this pretty much game breaking "glitch(?)". I can't interact/activate with any material at all.

I can talk to NPCs, I can fight. I cannot open doors, chest, pick up items, rogdoll, and I cannot sleep.

The intereaction that comes up when the crosshair is on said objects is "[E] Can't Do That".
 

Just by the wording of it I don't think it's a vanilla thing. It has got to be a mod, whether it's an intended feature, or a bug.
 

I went to DD mods' threads and Simple Slavery's, but all have confirmed that it's not a feature of theirs. Please reply if anyone has ever encountered such interaction.

Does it happen on new game?

 

I only know Mod Organizer, if that's what you use deactivate all mods left window minus alt start and make sure it's outside of base(coming from a mod)

 

This is a weird one. I have followers tell me that,in fact I can hear  Lydia's voice,clear as day saying it right noe.

 

When you say you can't ragdoll, 1st thing I thought was no animation file, but you can fight.

 

In game, have you tried instructing a follower to do things you can't do?

 

If followers can do the shit, I would look at active magic effects on player in consule and in magic main MCM where spells,shouts,and active effects are

I remember same thing happens when you equip some armbinder\yoke (or other arm-restricting device) from "Devious Devices - Equip" mod, it's custom restraints are more hardcore than regular DD's.

They say it's from DDe, too. But I tried everything: removing all those restrictions, removing the devices in debug, reset, disable. uninstall DDe and it's still there. In the screenshot I'm not even wearing anything (at all).

What about active effects. Open consule in game with tilde key and click on 3rd person PC and use tab key for additional info, you'll see active effects in pop up menu, use shift key to click on it or any info when consule is open.

If the bug does not exist on a new game, have you tried to clean your safe file?

If you think it's a DD item, try the command

removeallitems

Of course this will completely wipe your inventory (except for quest items) but you can at least test to see. 

I used to have to do this occasionally with blindfolds under DD 4.x

I also had, maybe have this issue. tried a few things and ended up rolling back a few saves.

The console listed some active spells belonging slfame I didn't note them but they had $ signs in front. I do quite possibly have way too many, some complex mods running but this is the best I have ever had Skyrim running, a few quirks like cannot exit from animation, have to epc out of it. I can live with that. At some point I will have to find out where the clever hang out here and post my load order, which I highly suspect is the source of all my woes.
