Any Good Race Mods Out There?

Creating a non-human race is a risky time investment. If it's too human, people won't bother with it or be turned away by its animal-like parts. If it's too bestial, many people won't be interested at all.

Plus there's the obvious issues of clipping if they have appendages that humans don't.

 

OP: I didn't see Celestials on that list. Granted, they're pretty much human, but Shaydow did impressive work with the spells and such.

But.. it DOES have more compatibility issues than most races, probably because of aforementioned spells.

when it comes to how bestial something looks, the Battle Matera full fur is good, (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26642/?)plus if someone put some digitigrade legs like wolven anthros on there (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/32821/?) from oblivion, would be the best, and if someone finds out how to make a muzzle that doesnt look bad that would be nice too. And I know for a fact there is an audience out there with this same opinion. There is a mod that adds more beast like feet out there (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16976//?) but its not quite like the wolven anthros mod. As far as my case goes, I have a mild foot phobia, but have a bit of a fetish for almost anything not human. a race that does all this is ideal for me, not sure if this is what OP had in mind, but if anyone wants a challenge, go nuts at my wishful thinking.

I do have Matera but its not what I'm really looking for in my opinion, it's really just a human with ears and a tail it's not overly original... A race that I use for my main is Vaalsark because nowhere is there going to be a character that looks like mine with it

battle matera has full body/face fur, though more human like than animal with the face.
