Are there any well-made Child Companions?

Lemme be clear here, I am not looking for a Loli mod. Now I have dinked around with Children of the Sky mainly because I wanted to play as my character when she was a kid, since some things happened when she was 11 that pertain to her backstory. It's a neat mod and all, grant you some of the skimpy female stuff for kids makes me uneasy. But the author was nice enough to add a vanilla clothing addon for it.

 

Problem with this mod, is for whatever reason it turns all my playable races into children, even custom races. Even when I turn the esps off this persists. Now, while I may make a Data folder dedicated to playing my character as a kid with Children of The Sky.... In terms of the mainquest considering the whole Children of The Sky forces me to play as a kid thing for whatever weird reason, doesn't fly for me.

 

The thing is I am roleplaying kind of a dark character, and I figure one thing that might redeem her is if she actually becomes responsible for a child. That she has to protect the child, and maybe it'll warm her heart some. Not looking for a Loli mod, just kind of a child companion that goes beyond simple adoption. Like a mod where my character looks out for the kid, teaches them how to fight maybe... Kinda like Claymore the anime!

 

Yeah that's a good example. Kinda like when Theresa took Claire under her wing in the anime Claymore (if you saw it.) Basically I'm looking for something like that. So are there any decent Child Companion mods, that aren't Loli mods, and don't require Children of The Sky?

I remember there being a Claymore one for Oblivion but I don't think there is one for Skyrim.

Well not so much looking for a Claymore mod, so much as I am using what happened in the anime as an example for the kind of mod I am looking for. It's just a pain trying to find anything when it comes to mods regarding kids in Skyrim without some Loli crap attached. I'm not looking to offend anyone right now because I'm not in the mood for one of those debates, but those kind of mods do make me really uncomfortable and they seem to be the only mods around pertaining to kids in Skyrim. Meh, maybe I'll dink around with some meshes and textures, and try to build a nice clean loli-free, albeit rudimentary child companion in the CS for personal use.

These mods I'm about to throw at you are tasteful, going off your claymore reference here. You can fight with these but they have kiddie stats, so they're better at lockpicking and sneak attacks, like children. These aren't lolis.

Guess I'll add even though I know you meant know offense. While my character is trans, and sometimes involved in really adult stuff. She doesn't broadcast it, Actually she's very low key most of the time, and she would obviously not get a kid involved with any of that. That's just creepy.

 

Actually if anything irks me it's when people try to mesh Adult mods, with mods regarding kids. I remember a post a while back with some guy asking how to avoid scaling issues with his child character during sex. Took every bit of self control not to flame him... But again not looking to start a big debate. It's obvious where i stand on the subject by now.

Never heard of cots changing everyone to children about the only thing I ever had was the hairs bleeding into other races loli world on the other hand changes everyone to children. If you haven't checked here yet Lostdaywalker has a lot of mods made soley for the cots body he even has a ton of vanilla outfits converted as well like steel armor and and some of the dlc armors like that vampire outfits. For followers there is this one made by Kyods that is based off of the cots mod 2 of the have quests. There's a new one called Adadlia teenanger follower. Missed this... And interesting? They don't require Children of The Sky? Might be worth giving a try. As for my technical issues with Children of The Sky? I have no idea. I installed it 3 times every time with the same result. My PC was stuck as a child, even with the esp's off. Even my custom Lovergirl (now Sihlk) race became a child race. I didn't make all the NPC's children it just made every playable race a child. So my character can't be an adult with the mod installed. I've been over the problem several times, and I have no idea what's causing it.

 

Grant you I do have a Children of The Sky Data folder primed, for when I do want to play my character when she was a youngster, during a flashback or something. It's just a simple matter of swapping Data folders in that regard. However in terms of the companions, neat if they aren't reliant on the orignal mod, just based on it.

The Adalia teenager one needs CoTs not sure what would cause all playable races to turn to children as the CoTs folders should be separate from any of the other folders the folders should be something like X117 and oriental. I haven't used CoTs for awhile so there might of been a update.

 

I'm using the Daughters of Venus race. The Ashen race is based on Jilteks mod but it is standalone but will need apachii hairs or it will ctd. The lostdaywalker thread the outfits are made for CoTs but anyone can wear them. I just posted a few pics on his thread of his new dungeon explorer/Zoe upload plus a few pictures of the barbarian explorer and dungeon explorer.
