I finnaly installed Skyrim and the next thing i did, was to go to skyrim nexus and start adding mods but i was confused cause there are thousands of mods and i dont know what to add.The only mod i added is SkyUI which improves Skyrim's UI to a more PC-like style than the console-like it was before.

I need your help to recommend me some more basic mods that will improve my experience in game.

To be brutally honest, if this is your first time playing Skyrim I would highly recommend you play the game in vanilla (i.e. without mods) as much as possible. The game is actually fun as it is and even more so if you buy the DLCs. If anything, all you really need are the Unofficial Skyrim Patches (highly recommended since it addresses the issues not fixed by Bethesda) and possibly the SkyUI (if you just want a more PC-friendly interface, which you already have). That's all. Everything else is extra, but once you've got a good enough grasp of the game, then you can start installing the more interesting and crazier mods, such as body/face overhauls, ENB presets for visual immersion, and so forth.

Mods are only meant to enhance the experience once you're already familiar with the original content. In fact, I actually invested about 500 hours into Skyrim before tackling with mods (with the exception of the Unofficial Skyrim Patches). If you play Skyrim in vanilla form first, you'll gain a much better sense of appreciation of the game once you start throwing in mods.

I agree. It's best to play the game that way, and only then after acquiring experience (I've done in about 300 hours in vanilla Skyrim before I installed my first mod) you could use mods.

BTW, be a bit careful of using mods with scripts, as not all of them work right.

Since a couple of people got some suggestions in, I'll just post the list.

S.T.E.P - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11

You can pretty much use any mod suggested without worry. They test the mods regularly and update the site according to which mods are game safe. You will see suggestions on the site you're directed to, these suggestions are there to point out that not every mod listed is just plug and play; you have to read them and use the recommended settings since some mods can bloat your save if you use them wrong. e.g. climates of tamriel, while it's suggested, the hardcore setting will bloat your save. Luckily when using S.T.E.P they will tell you just that before you use the mod so you can use a safe setting.

Good hunting

Thanks for your advices.

This i what i had in mind too, not to heavy mod it (like add custom races, armors and anything thats not lore friendly) cause it breaks the game's original feel, just add some mods that will improve the original game aspects that lacks (like the UI which was pretty much consolized and some graphics enhancers).
