SexLab Debug Solo Animations: Unable to find valid default animations

Recommended Posts

I'm having trouble with the solo animations with SexLab. They don't trigger whether I'm using the targeted or the self version of the debug spell.

I'm only using the SexLab Framework SE v 163 BETA 8.7 I'm running on Vortex, so I can't easily grab my loading list, but I'm not using anything but the basic stuff to get all of this working.

The pair animations work great so far, but I haven't started trying any of the groupsex versions. Secondary question: Do those work with the debug spells at all?

Here is my debug output.

Oh... sorry... the sound guy went on break... ;)

1) (presuming a standard installation) your loadorder.txt and plugins.txt are located in (user) /AppData/Local/Skyrim Special Edition/

2) Check in SL's MCM > Toggle Animations submenu for that type of animation. (I see no evidence of single person animations in SL's stock listings in my game) If not found there, check your listings in the SL Anim Loader and register any you find in your installed animation stacks. Once registered into SL, they should filter back into the single person listings.

Obviously, based on your OP, you don't have SL Animation Loader. get it. And pick up some animation packs too. See the conversion tracking thread for those

As for the debug spell. tbh, I haven't used that in ages and don't know. Not sure if I ever actually used the debug spell. Flower girls and Eager NPCs and a few other mods provide a plethora of different ways to initiate animations.

for instance one grants the spells Irresistibly attractive (self) and Irresistibly attractive (target), the first of which can trigger the desired animations without any choice restrictions that might be on the SL debug spell (I don't know tbh, just sayin)

Another offers a more blatant Pleasure self spell

Unfortunately, I'm not sure where any of them came from specifically, just the amorphous "some SL-something" mod) . Maybe someone else can identify where these are from

Also, FYI, in case you're not aware, SL Defeat offers a hotkey for choosing the animation to be played (in all SL animations), which is nice to have, even if you enable defeat but make it (defeat) effectively blocked by setting the thresholds for action on the player too high for anything to actually defeat you... that is, purposely defeat the purpose of Defeat just in order to gain the ability of that animation-chooser hotkey button.
