I did NOT create this mod, I merely converted Pchs's mod for Skyrim Special Edition, and shared it according to the open permissions they gave me. I CANNOT give any perms not specified on the original upload page for this mod. If you wish to alter, edit, or otherwise make changes and upload them anywhere, please refer to the permissions (if given on upload page) by the Original Author or contact them directly. This mod should be considered a placeholder for when/if the original author decides to take control of it.

Please test it, if no further bugs will be confirmed, I will release it from beta and upload final version. Report bugs only if you have started from a clean save (otherwise some globals might not be upadated and dialogue/values could be wrong/empty).

 

Why this?
I've always wondered why there's no way to borrow money in vanilla Skyrim. There are nice mods around the internets that do much more than this, but.. Let's say they lack the proper consequences!

 

What does this do?
This small mod enables all inkeepers (no DLC inkeepers, though) to lend you 500 or 1000 gold for a week any amount of gold for any period for any price (interest) you set up in the MCM menu. They will charge you twice the appropriate interest and if you don't pay back the debt in due time, you will be sold as a slave.

 

Requirements
SexLab SE- for (partially) paying the debt with sex services to the creditor
Simple Slavery SE- actually if you don't have it installed, the mod will work, except nothing will happen if you miss the time to pay the debt

Future development
I don't have much ambitions to develop this mod further. I intend to fix major bugs and move on. postponed as long as this mod's development is bringing me fun

i'm not interested in the mod but i want to say it's a nice thing that you put the screenshot of the original mod author authorisation. Shows that you care and respect their work  keep up the good work

I like to think of myself as more a Museum Curator than a mod "author". I collect, catalog, and convert mods so more people can enjoy them.

Curious about what was converted for SSE in this mod.  It's just a plugin and scripts.  Were scripts modified?

I've installed Loansharks of Skyrim in the past but the mod conflicted (if I remember correctly) with KS Hairdo's.
The innkeeper characters had strange textures (black faces).

 

Maybe I was doing something wrong? To start with, what do I put in the loading order first? I use Vortex
