Oh shit WTF Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 I'm requesting a house mod that is located inside the Eldergleam Sanctuary. The key part is that it's not an actual visible house but a house that's inside the big tree where you don't need a door or anything but you just need to press activate key against the tree to get in. I want it for my wood nymph play. It doesn't have to be fancy with all the features at all. I just want a good-looking peaceful space with a cute little spring surrounded by variety of flowers, butterflies and other ingredients, and an alchemy table nearby. Maybe a little tree next to the spring sounds even prettier. I know I should make this by myself since who else wants that? But I have zero knowledge about modding and stuff (I have TES5Edit installed but I don't even know how to make it work properly.) so if you could do that for me, I'd really be in your debt. Thanks for reading. Please feel free to throw your opinions, ideas, comments here, too.

Do you believe that the thing you want is worth someone else having to spend hours or days on? Everyone has ideas. Very few people are willing to put in the work to make those ideas into something. Are you willing to invest the time and effort to make your idea happen?

I told you yes and I'm actually and already spending hours to figure this out. I don't "believe" a lot of people want it, but who knows? Maybe there's someone who wants the same thing and know how to do these kinds of stuff, they just need someone else to want it so that their work is actuary rated. So that's what I'm doing. I'm saying I want this, so maybe someone else having the same ideas may be encouraged to make it happen before I do.

I've done it before and I have 2 projects running at the moment and because of personal problems im short with modding - time. so I can't really help. There are some problems in your idea. To get the teleport funktion you have to change the tree to a Door or an activator and that is impossible. You have to find an object to create a door. Possible is any static object. Next problem is if you want to have grass and flowers you have to create an exterior worldspace. that easy in the base but you have the limitation of an exterior. It doesn't work like an interior. You have to copy or create climate and weather. Perhaps you need both. Interior easyer than outdoor. copy an existing cell and clean it up. Than begin with the basics Boring work like navmeshing und packaging for NPC.
