Futa Species

Just a simple species portrait mod.

It's a mix of lewd(some futa, and more extreme content)/erotic/cute drawings, focusing on a more "semi-realistic" artstyle, that I felt worked a bit better in Stellaris,

than straight-up anime. I actually made this for personal use, but thought I'd share it here, cause hey, why not.

There are 183 portraits to avoid repetition as much as possible.

Disclaimer: I do not own any art used in the mod. All drawings are the property of their makers.

Enjoy, I guess.

Main file compatible with 3.11.*
Optional version by AnonTime (thanks!) updated for 3.12.5+

This code from your futa.txt portrait file seems to break the centering of other installed portrait mods

character = {

	#futa Portrait position
	icon = {
		orientation = center_down
		position = { x = 60 y = 0 }
		scale = 1.0
	}
}

Thanks for the info. I'll remove it, and re-upload as soon as I'm able.

I'm no coder, I just reverse engineered this stuff, so there might be some junk left over.

hey smasaki, i was wondering if there was a guide that you followed when creating custom potraits

im trying to make one myself but all of them seem outdated and i cant get it to work

Of the 135 leader portraits, I saw, I think maybe three futas.  The rest of them are us female.  Hell some of them are explicitly showing vagina, no penis anywhere in sight.  They're nice portraits, I particularly like the bodymodded ones, but the title is quite misleading.

@snarfies You are correct, somewhat. There are more futas in there, but because of the size limitations, I had to cut off the lower half, so the naughty stuff is out-of-frame xD

Also, I started the "project" to make a 100% futa species (hence the in-game name), but found out that there's just not enough material out there, that fits the quality I was looking for. So it ended up being a mix (I tried to clarify it in the description). I'm sorry if you feel cheated - it was more laziness than malice, I assure you.

@Angeleou I just downloaded a couple of other portait mods, and tried to simplify everything, as much as possible based on how other people did it. Feel free to use my mod as a template, just change all the "futa" entries to something else, and place your own files named accordingly.

just curious, what program did you use to encode your portrait files (.dds)?

Was looking to resize / reorient to make them better fit all the leader portrait windows, but cannot get them to open in paint.net even with the DDS file plugin,

thanks in advance

It seems like 01_base_species_classes.txt needs to be updated to include the Lithoids from 2.5. Doesn't show them or their bonus without the fix.

@Jakaze How do you do this? I think could potentially fix a lot of other species mods that got broken from 2.5 (and maybe 2.4 too).

This has happened a lot with different species mods I've been using, where they should be in the "humanoids" category, or their own category, but instead the portraits are missing.

Lustful Void already has a workaround in their thread, this one requires you to add a different set of code. Put this at the end of the aforementioned file:

LITHOID = {
	archetype = LITHOID

	playable = { has_lithoids = yes }
	possible = { authority = { NOT = { value = auth_machine_intelligence text = SPECIES_CLASS_MUST_NOT_USE_MACHINE_INTELLIGENCE } } }

	randomized = { has_lithoids = yes }

	gender = no

	custom_portraits = {
		randomized = { has_lithoids = yes }
		playable = { has_lithoids = yes }
		portraits = {
			"lith1"
			"lith2"
			"lith3"
			"lith4"
			"lith5"
			"lith6"
			"lith7"
			"lith8"
			"lith9"
			"lith10"
			"lith11"
			"lith12"
			"lith13"
			"lith14"
			"lith15"
		}
	}

	graphical_culture = lithoid_01
	move_pop_sound_effect = "reptilian_pops_move"

	resources = {}

	trait = "trait_lithoid"
}

May I pick some of the pictures from your mod and add them to my portrait mod that I might be posting in the future?

Is this the normal unzip in the mod folder installation?

Yup. Just plop the "futa" folder and "futa.mod" file into your "mods" folder.

Hey, I made a version of this that's a custom species category [because its very compatible] for 3.12.5 and on!

I also disabled gender and forced the LV futanari trait too but if you don't like it you can remove it from the species classes file. You can upload this if you'd like or if you'd rather I can

Nicely done!
I'll add it to the download page!

Hello, i dont know if you still maintain this but it no longer works, or at least not for me, when using it, it works till i start match starts, i can make an empire no problem but when i use it in a match, they always come out the same with same portraits no matter the one chosen during creation, only the minister of state seems to be randomized but the other 3 starting leaders are always the exact same portraits this is a problem with 3.12.5+, i cant get the other two 3.11.* files to work at all.

Tested with multiple load orders and different other mods with the last test just having LV and Futa Species.

Its works by itself somewhat, only labeled as intermediate and minister of research and defense still don't change, and without LV no futa trait.

seems to be conflicting with LV some how, though if it helps, after testing Futa Species by itself the re-enabling LV i had to re-pick futa species as the species went red for some reason, unless LV has a hidden futa species.

TL;DR: Portraits are broken and conflict with LV.

I don't work on it anymore (not since 3.11 and the major changes 3.12 brought)
The last version that was made by me is for 3.11 and worked fine then.
The 3.12.5 version worked specifically on 3.12.5 with LV from that era.
It's all probably outdated by now, there were patches, expansions, and stuff that probably broke it, and I don't have the time to deal with that.

But the files are here and free to use if anyone's interested in playing around and fixing them. I'll upload them to the page if someone does.
