1) Unfortunately the german is what we call a dirty edit. It could have come from almost any mod (it won't be from lovers so you can rule those out). Whoever made the mod accidentally left things in his/her mod that they should not have. Your best bet is to examine any mods you have installed that impact those areas to figure out the culprit.

~~In running BOSS the log tells me I have two mods with dirty edits:

 

Thieves Arsenal.esp

* Contains dirty edits: 368 ITM' date=' 1216 UDR records. Needs TES4Edit cleaning

 

Apachii_Goddess_Store.esp Version 1.6.

* Contains dirty edits: 0 ITM, 3 UDR records. Needs TES4Edit cleaning

Since the Apachii mod is based in IC, I am leaning towards that being the culprit. Not too comfortable editing but will give that link you gave (same one BOSS suggested) to tes4edit a shot at some point.

 

2) Go to documents\my games\oblivion\oblivion.ini open it up and make sure that

bUseFaceGenHeads=1

 

If it is 0 change it to 1 and save the ini file. Be sure NOT to use the save as command as you could accidentally save it as oblivion.ini.txt which won't work. What this command does is help to match head colors to the body. It may not completely fix it but it should help.

I think my best bet is to disable all the mods and reload just the vanilla meshs and textures and then start fresh. Not sure the proper or best way to go about it but will have to bite the bullet or skip playing the blue/gray guy until then. His neck is very noticeable and it drives me crazy lol.

 

3) When your spell casting stops working check to see if there are any errors in your console (hit the console key. default it is ~). If no errors then try casting a spell and then hit ~ again to see if something pops up. It may be a conflict of magic mods that is causing this. You may need to end up disabling any mods that effect spell casting and slowly add them back in one at a time to see which is causing the problem.

 

~~ no errors found or indicated when bringing up the console. It is really strange as the animation of casting works but no actual spell affect happens.

 

 

4) Check the readme for Vilja to make sure that the mod doesn't require you to install some other mod (called a prerequisite or master) for it to function. It sounds like the Vilja mod may have some sleep idle that tries to run and then is missing something and CTD.

Not sure if that works with cell names as well' date=' but Bash has an import names feature for the bashed patch that you can use to override any name changes by only checking oblivion.esm. I'm using that to keep my German Oblivion from being completely turned to english by some 150 english mods. ^^

1) the german text will not show up as a dirty edit with any program. There are no utilities that can detect language changes. You will simply have to find the mod and manually change the text to english or find another version of the mod or uninstall it or live with it.

 

2) If bUseFaceGenHeads=1 then there is nothing more you can do aside from getting a dds editor and trying to fix the textures yourself. DON'T mess with bUseFaceGenLOD=0 unless you know what you are doing!!!!! This setting has NOTHING to do with heads or bodies.

 

3) Then you have a magic mod conflict. Again you will need to disable any mod that has to do with magic and re-enable them one at a time to see which is causing the conflict.

 

4) Mods like this one tend to have a lot of scripts and custom idles that can make them not compatible with large numbers of other mods. It is sad.

 

5) Xeoex.esp is the esp for Xeo which is a replacer beauty mod that you don't have installed so don't worry about it.

Greg,

Thanks for all your time and patience helping me start to get a clue in adding mods to an already interesting game. Now that I've played around for a bit and think I have a better handle on what/how to add esps and or omods. I am thinking I would be best served deleting everything and reinstalling the game fresh.

 

At that point I will add the patches and utilities (BOSS, WRYE BASH, OMM, etc) then start intelligently installing the mods I've had the most fun with to create a more stable gaming experience. Guard and stealth type overhauls,some custom house and armor mods and some more intelligent utilities along with the PK series is what I would like to play with. If you get a chance could you please give me a quick sequence that you think makes sense to do this in the best order? I downloaded WryeBash last night but haven't read up on it yet to tell if it is something I should be using instead of OMM or in concert with it.

 

I also think that part of my issues stem from I have too many (perhaps even redundant) beauty mods to make the general race look better. I think everything I installed was because it was required by whatever other mod I was after to begin with lol. I am thinking maybe it makes more sense to forget some of those and just install MBP?

If you could give me a more intelligent outline or maybe just recommend the best mods needed to compliment LoversPK that would really be a help. (I don't have to worry about houses, class armors or utilities like the containers, I can always install then back in gradually)

 

I'm not sure how much work this involves and I am just looking for a nudge.(I don't want to take up too much of your time so I will understand if you say it is too involved) I really do appreciate it.

MBP is a passive beauty mod - this means it will not affect vanilla NPC's. Instead it is a base that mods like tamagoclub or from2ch lives can draw from.

 

Xeo is a replacer beauty mod - this means it will change vanilla NPC's.

 

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so what you like is probably vastly different than what I like. I personally use MBP/x117/XeoSP++/Younger hotter NPCs women.

I recommend choose your base body and then getting a replacer mod for clothing & armor. You can always add more armor/clothes later but get the major overhauls out of the way first.

 

Install mods 1 at a time and then test them to make sure all is working. If it is a really small mod then 2 or perhaps 3 at a time are fine but no more or you will have a heck of a time finding which one is the culprit if it breaks something.

 

After installing 20 or so mods and all is working - make a backup of your data folder. You can zip it up to save space. This will save you hours upon hours of reinstalling stuff it the next couple of mods break something.

 

I see nothing wrong with the mods you have selected thus far and since everyone's tastes are different I don't know what to point you towards.

 

You should use OBMM and Wrye in tandem. OBMM is quite useful for somethings and Wrye for others.

1. You have to install the lovers base pack, the resource pack and have raperS and Joburg installed for others to rape you.

 

2. You have yellow pyramids because you have either not installed all of the required lovers files or installed them incorrectly. A yellow pyramid is what oblivion displays when it is missing a mesh file.

 

3. To get naked bodies you have to install a body replacer mod. This is a good one as it is really a compilation of many of those that are out there: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=39966

 

I suggest you read the Lovers FAQ: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=3 As it would have answered most of those questions.

hi guys am having a problem every time am in the Dasek moor cave or so, when i get closer to that laying female minotaur looking creature and i hit her or she stands up or moves my game crashes and don't know how to fix that, any suggestions or clues?

You totally lost me.....what mod are you talking about? This is the general discussion thread rather than a particular lovers plugin. Did you really mean to post here? I would love to help but need a bit more info

sorry if am posting in the wrong place, just didn't know were else to ask and am not really sure if am missing a plugin, it just feels more like whenever i get close to that minotaur female in the (Dasek moor) area my game crashes, just like if am missing something but am not sure what it is.

Either way we need to see your load order so we can get an idea of what you are running and try to give as much info as to what you installed as possible.

Quite often I get the error message on an unsuccessful rape attempt, "sex aborted unable to start weak state". The rape attempt does start, the victims clothes are torn off but it does not complete. I am sure I am being stupid but can someone explain what this message means exactly and how I would adjust settings to offset it from happening. I've played with fatigue and health percentages but it still comes up quite a bit.

 

Any advice is appreciated.

Which plugin inform the player when sexual intercourse happens in the Oblivion universe. I turned off TamagoTopic and TamagoNews and still get pop-ups in upper-left corner. If there was only way to limit those messages... For me I feel like I am flooded by these messages like a spam.

AFAIK' date=' it's called "LoverDrader".

Deactivate "LoversEncounter" to get rid of those messages.

 

Some people seem to like it for roleplaying reasons, but I find it anything but immersive to hear over and over that unknown guard "SoAndSo" had wild buttsex with another Guard, or that the Countess and her bodyguard had their 12th child together.

 

Not to mention that TamagoNews is +1 ESP, TamagoTopic +1 ESP, TamagoConfide +1 ESP, LoversEncounter +1 ESP, etc. At the end of the day, that means less room for other, better mods, from Lovers or not.

 

TamagoShop you might also want to deactivate, it never worked for me (not compatible with latest base plugins, it seems).

 

The whole Tamago/Hiyoko suite relies on a great concept : dealing with the consequences of "Lovers with PK". Unfortunately, it is executed in a poor fashion, and could stand a complete facelift/redesign to make it more shmexy.
