using existing hdt xml's on other schlongs?

Hey guys i was wondering if it was possible to use an exsiting schlong xml with another one. I've recently downloaed a dwemer strapon mod that seems to use the same "bones" as vector plexus' ones from the sos mod so i was wondering if i copied the exiting one renamed it and changed some paths it would work? How do I do this and what should i change so that it points to that xml files and any values in the xml file to the schlong?

 

I'm not even sure if i'm getting it right either.

If it uses the same bones you just need to attribute the mesh with the right nistring and path.

I did what you say now my skyrim ctd at start wtf you made me do my install is rip now thanks alot

If you got ctd after linking a new xml then it's calling for bones you do not have most likely .

Go get jff just for fun open up the xml in jff delete the bone info you do not have and save your good to go .
