I am relativity sure I installed all the required sexout mods, but the lack of any concise list/thread/package leads me to admit I may have just plain missed something as well. edit: yes, I confirmed it as a sexout issue, deactivated all of the sexout stuff and tested before posting, no crash (til `qqq at least but thats a longstanding engine issue)
zippy57 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 When is it crashing? Different problems cause crashes at different points. Are the stickied list of every Sexout plugin and the compilation of every Sexout plugin in one archive not concise?
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 It crashes as soon as I start/load a game. It'll go to main menu fine, but as soon as it actually goes and loads a save or finishes the intro sequence and starts a new game, crash. And no that is not concise or clear, it is simply a list, not a concise guide showing the bare minimum to get the core features of sexout working. It may be clear to those used to it, but having only previously done oblivion sexout (without issue) I found those lists to be quire confusing in general.
zippy57 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 A crash on game load has been shown to almost always be a case of failing to install the correct version of NVSE. Please confirm that you have installed NVSE version 3beta2 as instructed by the SexoutNG OP. Perhaps you're looking for the sticked FAQ thread designed for people new to Sexout?
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 Ah, maybe that's it, I installed version 2b12 because on the NVSE site it lists it as the latest version. And yes, I used the FAQ thread, I know what a damn sticky is. It still wasn't that concise.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 And yeah that was it, seems to be working now, I musta just saw NVSE and skipped ahead as I read since I'd never had an issue with going for their latest stable release over the beta before.
brocules Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Granted it doesnt specify in the SexoutNG OP that the latest beta of NVSE is required, but in the NVSE extender thread (from which you probably got the extender) its listed in the OP as a requirement, accompanied by big red 'NOTICE!!' text.
Guest user29 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Granted it doesnt specify in the SexoutNG OP that the latest beta of NVSE is required' date=' but in the NVSE extender thread (from which you probably got the extender) its listed in the OP as a requirement, accompanied by big red 'NOTICE!!' text. [/quote'] That's not concise enough.
KainsChylde Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Quoting myself isn't enough here, I need a screencap.

[/quote']The SexoutNG OP doesn't specify "latest beta", but it does give you the specific version required: - NVSE v3beta2 or newer and my NVSE Extender' date=' V10+ available here: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=5965[/quote']
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 The SexoutNG OP doesn't specify "latest beta" Indeed, that's the whole point. Simple misunderstanding, and someone's panties got in a twist about it.
zippy57 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 No, this is the point: but it does give you the specific version required It doesn't have to specify "beta version" when it tells you precisely which number version to download.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 The real question is why do you give a fuck so much as to spam a help thread with 'omg you misread something'. That's some nexus level shit man.
zippy57 Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 No, the real question is why do you "give a fuck so much" as to spam SOMEONE ELSE'S help thread about it? But if you really must know, I care because you couldn't be bothered to properly read the instructions that were given to you, and instead decided that it was our fault for not making things "concise" enough. And my initial reply about the provided version number wasn't even directed at you, it was directed at brocules, whom I quoted.
gregathit Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Guys, lets please keep it civil. The OP's question has been answered so let's move on.
