Intermission: No Skyrim For A While

I was going to continue playing Skyrim where I left off with Mace, but my sister got me Fallout 4 for the Solstice, which I did not ask for and did not actually want.
Now that I have it, though, I feel compelled... so that's what I'll be playing for a while. I'm not sanguine about how I'm going to like it, but I'm really hoping it'll be a sort of tsundere situation eventually. Gods willing.
So the Skyrim playthrough is being put on the back burner again (not that it's been on the front burner for quite a while anyway). I'm either going to jump in Fallout 4 with both feet and not emerge for six months, or give it up after a week. We'll see...
In any case, XCOM comes out in February, so no matter what, everyone who's interested in continuing reading (all five of you!) are basically kind of screwed.
Sorry, and I swear I'll get back to it eventually! Maybe in time for Elder Scrolls 6: We've Been To Every Northern Province, Now How About Something Further South For A Change?

NEXT: Chapter 43

I feel like one of those bloggers who never posts anything except apologies for not posting anything.

The mournful wind wails through the keys of the long-disused keyboard, hearkening back to a time when things actually happened. If you listen closely, you can almost hear the faint echoes of long-lost tapping...

You got to chapter 42, that's not exactly slacking, don't beat yourself up.

Do you really want to revisit that bleako-50s-arkana fest. Again? You can make a tower or camp or something this time, I guess.

What was all that pre-release business about having a dog this time? I can't be the only person who walked out the Vault in FO3 and seemed to have Dogmeat available for the rest of the game.

Ah, ES6. We can only dream...

More essentialness (so it's not just a slow FPS where you kill EVERYTHING, instead some flee, some capitulate, you can have bandits arrested etc). This map does not have enough population for the numbers of people killed randomly by wildlife, or that the DB kills.
