I've updated my Cascadeur rigs.

After 5 trillion tries, managed to make the AI resting pose (not the t-pose) to at least have some semblance of human posture (hopefully);

rigged the Spine1 bone correctly;

re-did the Skirt bones so everything should behave now;

Rigged all the twists and pauldrons, so the arms rotate nicely now;
finally figured out how to stop the mid-section of the torso from distorting on regular poses;
re-positioned a few of the points, so it behaves better;
got in a root constraint so the root position might be exported (turned off by default, though, as I don't use it often except for the paired ones);
numerous other small tweaks that I forgot about already.

Happy animating.

Hi,

thank you for making this happen! I’ve attempted to create a rig for Cascadeur myself but couldn’t figure it out.

I used your previous rig, and it works mostly as advertised, although for some reason, when I load in these ones, it does that weird thing where if move any controllers, the legs immediately distort, tangle up and face the other direction?

not sure if it has to do with the latest Cascadeur update.

Any advice is appreciated!

Hi,

thank you, glad to see someone more people use these!

Yeah, something has changed in 2024.1 in regards to the directional controller (or I could've screwed that up, more likely - but somehow it did work fine in 2023.2), I've uploaded the update that fixes that 😀
