My dad was shopping for some tools in the hardware and tools store two days ago. Since he and Mikey are inseparable and Precious always follows her brother, they were with him. My mom too. We were working. Looking at the merchandise, he found very good craftsmanship of the cooper emblem of our city. He bought it along with the tools and other stuff he needed. When we returned home, we saw cooper city emblem and my Prince asked him where he bought it. My dad told him and my Prince said he would like to buy one for the Hotel. His treat. He took measures of the emblem and told my Ivy that they will go and buy it when our children take a nap. So, after lunch and having a short nap with our children, he and my Ivy kissed me and went to that store. This is what she told me that happened when they returned home:

Ivy (laughingly): Honey, do you know why he bought that emblem?

Me (impatiently): No, I don’t. Tell me all, but from the beginning.

Ivy: We arrived at the Hotel first. He brought the ladder and took measures of the plaque he got from Mister “XXX”. Then he compared them with the measures of the city emblem. Seeing the smile on his face I immediately figured out what he planned to do.

Me (laughingly): Noooo, he didn’t.

Ivy: Yes, Princess, he did …. Hahaha … He said: “I so hate this plaque. Never wanted it and never asked for it.” So, we went to that hardware store and bought the cooper emblem and hung it over the plague. (He didn't take it down because he promised he won't).

I approached him and kissed him I said he was very clever, but I am not sure how Mister “XXX” will react when he finds out what he did, because he surely will hear about it sometime. He said:

- I will tell him when the time comes.

But I had no peace in my heart. I was afraid it would be too late and I didn’t want Mister “XXX” to think we were hiding something from him when he finds out. So, while my luvs practiced martial arts, I called him and told him what my Prince did apologizing in his name. To my surprise, he blasted into laughter and said:

- Is he somewhere around you now?

Me: Yes, sir, he is. He is practicing martial arts with Ivy.

MX: Would you mind calling him, please? I’d like to talk to him.

I called him and told him that Mister “XXX” would like to speak with him. When he and my Ivy came, I turned on the speaker.

Prince: Good evening, Mister “XXX”.

MX: Good morning, my son. (I was very surprised to hear him calling my Prince “my son”).

MX (laughingly): What an excellent idea!!! Ha ha ha. Say: why didn’t you ask Eva to put it in her office as you suggested at first?

Prince: Well, you know me, sir, my oversensitive conscience and I changed my mind thinking it still might be too visible ... That cooper emblem gave me a better idea.

MX: I see, my son, but I still think it should be hung in a visible place, in Eva’s office where you won’t see it, but she would. You know how much she is proud of you and your accomplishments …

Me (thrilled): Of course, I am, sir. I would gladly have it in my office.

Ivy: I am proud of him and his accomplishment too, Mister “XXX”!

MX (chuckling): I am sure you are, Ivy. All right, that’s settled then. It was nice talking to you. Give my love to your children. Wish you all the best. Bye.

He and my Ivy were on their way to the balcony to continue with martial arts training when I jumped in his arms and deep kissed him. Then I said:

- Honey, tell me, when and how you became his son and how he suddenly changed his mind about the plaque.

Prince: Well, when I started to have serious issues with that plaque, I didn’t want to break my promise and take it down, I rather called him and told him all about it again. He said he’ll talk to dad Boss again about it. He did. I don’t know what dad Boss told him, but after that, he changed his decision about the plaque and became very nice toward me. Since then, he started to call me “my son”.

Ivy: Honey, why didn’t you tell us about it?

Prince: I didn’t tell you because you know I do not like to talk about certain things about me. And honey …

Me: Yes?

Prince: When I said I will tell him, I meant it. Don’t rush things. Okay?

Me: Sure.

He was right. I should of wait. Anyway, he moved his plaque to my office yesterday morning and put it on the wall where I can easily see it but he can’t when he comes to my office. Whenever I look at it, it melts my heart and makes me proud of him. The cooper city emblem is still in that place and it looks very nice. We are happy now because “the wolf is full but no sheep is missing” as we say in our country.
