Anunya's Adventuresses
I'd like to introduce nine young ladies who've been adventuring in Skyrim under my guidance. As you can imagine several of them have found themselves in the occasional bit of trouble... to be honest, 9 out of 9 have discovered that Skyrim is a harsh place. That said each of them have also found moments to enjoy and savour. Some of their journeys are rather long, while others concluded fairly fast.
It is probably unrealistic to expect that each of them will get the full Maer or Ephedrina-style writeup, or even the Godis one (where I'm trying to be brief). It turns out my playing speed outpaces my writing speed by a fair margin. But at least I thought I'd introduce them so all their travails will not pass in complete silence.
... without further ado, allow me to introduce:
ARETHUSA
Arethusa has recently arrived in Whiterun from Cyrodiil in the hopes of joining the Companions in Jorrvaskr. She has no skill in magic and does not intend to pursue the ways of the wyrd, trusting instead in her shield and blade.
The spoiler shows Arethusa posing with her sword and blade in the Bannered Mare in Skyrim.
GODITH
Godith is a young Nord farm girl who just arrived in Solitude from the nearby countryside. Her is intention is to earn a living as a prostitute, thinking it's better than subsistence farming. Basically this is a restart of the Godis game - same character except for a slightly different hairstyle and a new name - and Godith is similarly set permanently at level 1, starting with 1 in all skills except Speechcraft.
This time, however, the intention is to actually try to do the non-adventuring lifestyle rather than be distracted right away.
The spoiler shows Godith attempting to seek guidance from Mara prior to setting out for Solitude.
MALATHEA
Malathea is a scrawny and kind of awkward looking Breton wannabe witch. She's starts off with nothing to her name, apprenticed to a Necromancer. One of Malathea's quirks is that she has exceptional reservoirs of magickal power (I think I set her magicka starting at 400 or something like that). Unfortunately, her magicka recharges with less ease than others, requiring a special ritual (masturbation).
One or two Skyrim settings may have been a bit harsher than my usual playthroughs as well, though it only becomes topical a few times. As in almost all my Skyrim games, spell tomes are fairly rare and require time and magicka-penalties to learn from.
ATHELIL
My current playthrough.
Athelil is an ambitious Nord adventuress, aiming to become a powerful mage. She starts off with a whole bunch of advantages: permanent licenses for magic and weapons and some pretty sweet gear. On the downside, she has 0 in all magical and combat related skills and learning spells is dependent on skill, so she's got a bit of an uphill battle there.
And, of course, if she loses her gear she may be in for a harder time as well.
SWANHILD
Swanhild- another hardy Nord farm girl - travelled to Markarth to see what the town has to offer.
Spoiler shows Swanhild at her first job in Markarth:
Turns out what Markarth has to offer Swanhild is grossly underpaid waitressing work, but perhaps that will change if she meets the right people?
SLITHA
You know the story: young Nord girl, absent mother, demanding step-father. Skyrim is a cruel place, and it doesn't get less cruel if the authority figures in your life are looking to take advantage of you.
Here is Slitha in her little room.
MINOU
A young Breton woman gains admittance to the college in Winterhold. It's mildly controversial as she has no training in the magical arts whatsoever. She is, it has to be said, fairly charming and she seems to have money too.
The spoiler shows Minou's starting gold and skills above 0:
SIALIS
Sialis is a retainer of a Dunmer noble house. One of the noble ladies of the house disappeared on a sea journey to Windhelm. Reports suggest that the identity of the missing Dunmer noble was assumed by one of her followers, known as Ephedrina.
Sialis arrives at Windhelm intending to track down Ephedrina and get some answers. Like Ephedrina (or rather, the noble Ephedrina served) Sialis is well equipped. Unlike Ephedrina, Sialis does not have any licences. It shouldn't be a big problem though.
Spoiler shows Sialis fresh off the boat, contemplating her next step.
THISTLE
A Bosmer woman is robbed of all her belongings - including her clothes - and dropped off in some random spot in Skyrim. Or perhaps it's some sort of strange wood elf ritual? In any case, Thistle has no food, no money, no clothes, no weapons, and no compass. Is she resourceful - and lucky - enough to survive and prosper against the odds?
Spoiler shows Thistle from another angle:
