Just as I promised my son, I called Irena and asked her if she likes Hulk.

Irena (confused): Pardon me, Eva, but I do not understand what are you asking me …

I explained again how my son wants to know if she likes Hulk and how much it will mean to him if she does because he likes her. She smiled and said:

- I am not a fan of him but if it will make your son happy, tell him, I like him.

I explained to her that we do not lie to our children and that if she doesn’t like him, she should say it for Mikey wouldn’t be happy if he finds out that she pretends to like Hulk when she doesn’t. She apologized and said to tell him that she will learn to like Hulk before she comes in the visit. I also told her that he said how she is very beautiful (I skipped the part: almost like me). She giggled and said to give him a big kiss in her name and to thank him for the compliment. I did so and Mikey was very happy, especially about the part where she will like Hulk. You see, we always try to keep our promises, even to our children not taking lightly their desires and wishes. Keeping our promises builds their trust in us.

I also spoke to my luvs later, when they came to my office after I read the article about four abandoned children in Bosnia and their grandparents who have difficulties feeding and clothing them. My Prince and Ivy were very touched. They immediately said we should help them after we check their story. We asked my Fran to go there and do it. He was willing to go but he wanted to go with his husband, Stipe. He talked to him. Stipe called Antonio and asked for a day off. Antonio said he will give him a day off, but after he learn more about it. He called my luvs and asked them to meet in person. They met in our café and my Prince explained everything in detail to him. Antonio wasn’t thrilled with the idea but he kindly said to my Prince:

- Bro, …. listen, I always admired your big heart for people, but, …… that family is not your concern ….. You helped and already helping so many people …. Are you aware of how much money you already could save for your family?

Prince: My family is doing fine. We still have more than we need … I wouldn’t sleep peacefully knowing that I could help them, but I didn’t …. Listen, Tony, no offense, but my family is my concern. I ask you as a friend to give Stipe a day off tomorrow…. If you don’t want to do it, fine. We’ll improvise somehow.

Antonio deeply sighed and said to my Ivy:

- Gorgeous …. Please …. talk to him …

Ivy (kissing my Prince): Can’t help you, Tony …. Princess and I support him 100% … We, as a family want to help those children and their grandparents.

Tony (keep sighing): All right. If this is your final, I will give Stipe a day off.

My luvs thanked him and returned home. My Fran and Stipe went to Bosnia yesterday early in the morning and returned in the evening. We gave them money for the gas and trip expenses, meals and similar. They had my Prince’s order that if the story is true, they will gift the children with various candies, and fruits, buy necessary groceries and everything for babies, diapers and similar, and give them 4000 Euros in cash (three and a half average Croatian Netto wages = 6 Netto Bosnian average wages). The three of us equally participated in giving the money. We had only two conditions: no newspapers and we as donators have to stay anonymous. We made a quick supper for my Fran and Stipe and listened to their report. They said they did as were told and that both grandparents heavily cried when received the money and material gifts. My Prince asked about the children’s reaction. He melted and had tears in his eyes seeing the pictures of the children eating candies and fruits like they didn’t eat them for ages. Anyway, we thanked them for going there and helping our goal. When they left, we had big smiles on our faces all evening. Helping others and making their lives better feels sooo good.
