How to kill big ugly giant

I had to work in Saturday morning. My luvs didn’t. They went to grocery shopping and they took the children in the park afterwards. Our children supposed to stay at their grandparents over the night during the weekend but they didn’t want to. We also wanted to go out in Saturday night but they wanted us to stay home. So, we stayed. Mikey had a nightmare and he woke us up crying and shouting “TAAATAAAA!” He dreamed that his dad was crushed by big ugly giant. He couldn’t stop crying embracing his dad and holding him firmly. My Prince placed him on his chest. Cuddling his back and kissing his head, he calmed him and they slept together in children’s room. Precious also cried for her brother scared her and my Ivy and I calmed her. She slept in our bed between my Ivy and me. No, we don’t let our children to watch horror movies and we do not speak about my luvs’ job in the front of them. I talked to Mikey’s doctor the next day. Knowing him, she said that having nightmares is normal to all children of his age and especially among hyperactive children like him as a sign of lack of sleep. I was surprised hearing that since he sleeps enough, 8-10 hours. I don’t know where his nightmare came from but I believe it is the reflection of his care for his dad and the fear that he might get hurt because he is doing dangerous job.

Yesterday, Sunday, we were ready to pick Mata to join us for family lunch. My Prince called him. He kindly thanked us but he refused saying that he will stay in senior house with his new girlfriend and have a lunch. Mikey couldn’t let his dad go anywhere outside his sight. He was very worried that big ugly giant will kill him. We tried to convince him that he only had a bad dream and that such things as giants doesn’t exist. It didn’t help. He was mostly in his arms holding him tightly around his neck. Precious followed her brother, believing in her brother’s story and because she follows him everywhere. Since my Prince loves to cook and missed cooking, Mikey was with him in the kitchen with my mom. Precious made me and my Ivy come to the kitchen with her several times just to make sure they are both all right meaning that big ugly giant didn’t get them and to kiss them. Mikey was at peace when seeing us all playing cards with our moms and dads. He and his sister slept in the living room, but he hardly let us go to “our café” when they woke up. My Prince had to promise him that he will often call him on video chat so he can see that everything is all right. Sooo, we went to our café while my Fran was babysitting our children. My Prince called him so Mikey could see that he is fine. Ivan also encouraged him saying that he is guarding his dad too. Although we didn’t have sex in the cafe, we had fun talking and joking with “our” waitress and Ivan. When we arrived home, both children ran to us happily shouting “Mammmaa” and “Taaattaaa”. We showered them with kisses. Mikey said to his dad:

- You can kill big ugly giant, daddy. I know you can because you are strong and brave.

My Ivy and I kissed him saying: “Of course he can, son.” He happily ran to play with his sister while we wondered what happened. My Fran told us that Mikey was very worried about his dad being killed by big ugly giant when he goes to sleep. He put him in his lap and said:

- You know Mikey, the big ugly giant is a liar and a coward. He came to you in your dream pretending that he I stronger than your dad when he is actually afraid of him … He wants you to be afraid of him too. But you know what, your dad can kill him with one strike in his ugly giant face. You just must believe in him.

Mikey: Really, uncle Fran?

Fran: I have seen your dad in real fight. He is strong and fearless. He is stronger than big ugly giant. If he comes to you in your dream again, all you need to do is to stand against him and say: I am not afraid of you. Neither my dad. He will kill you if you don’t stop coming into my dreams! OK?

Mikey made a big smile and said: “I will, uncle Fran. I will!” My Fran told me that Mikey’s fear for his dad’s life vanished in the split of the second. We thanked him for doing something we weren’t able to do. Then we watched Charlie Chaplin’s funniest scenes on YouTube together. They loved it very much. Before we put them to sleep we kissed them and wished them merry dreams reminding them that giants do not exist for real. Only in our imagination and dreams. Then we did our evening routine and ended unusual weekend with excellent M/FF sex. Mikey slept content being ready for the big ugly giant if he appears in his dream. Oh, my, children’s mind is soooo interesting. One thing is sure, Mikey’s trust in his daddy is real and he knows that he will be always there for him to protect him. Even in his dreams.

Good Work Fran. :smile::heart:;):thumbsup:

I think Mikey's fear came because when Prince came home one day injured and that fear grew more when Mikey had his nightmare. But it comes to show that your kids must overcome their fears and find the courage to move on past their fears. :smile: Because Hulk smash fears! :mrgreen::thumbsup:

> You might have much right about Mikey's fear. He is in the age that he start to understand what is fear although he is still very young to distinguish some things what is true and real and what is not. You have experience with your nieces, so you know. :) But as the time goes, and they grow older, we will teach them to be not afraid of anything.
