noob question about BBP clothes replacer

Hi,

My whole setup uses UNP HDT but i am downloading this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47376/ and in the file section there is a version compatible for HDT. I'm not pro at modding and don't understand the terms properly so i was wondering if when I will do a batch build in bodyslide is BBP like HDT? Like will the outfits get output and work as UNP HDT-PE or is BBP some sort of alternative physics thing that won't work for hdt setup?

BBP is HDT in that mod's case. If you would read the description, it also says so in the download page.
