Image links with "https" are not displaying

Of late a number of posts have included image LINKS with secured hypertext HTTPS resulting in the following message:

 

          The image "https://i.imgur.com/stng5ue.png" cannot display because it contains errors.

 

Funny, if I simply remove the "s" and leave it "http://..." the image displays fine. Do I need to adjust something in my browser?

Remove the ".Png" from the link and it should be okay

Imgur blocks direct links from some sites, including LL.
