[Fallout 4 VR] Working Adult Mods

Sleep Intimate does work with VR. However, at least one of the supported animation packs (like Atomic Lust) has AAF as a dependency, but Sleep Intimate doesn't need AAF to load the animations. So you need a dummy plugin so that Fallout 4 VR loads Atomic Lust.

I have still had no luck with trying to dummy load AAF though. F04 will accept it as a dummy file but if there are any mods dependent on AAF they still don't seem to load 

 

In my particular context trying to get commonwealth slavers to run but it upon loading game, and running MCM it would just say something like commonwealth slavers missing (amongst others ) ..

The only mod that works with AAF as a dummy plugin is Sleep Intimate, and that's because Sleep Intimate isn't actually using AAF to call animations, it's calling the animations by itself. Any other mod that requires AAF as a master won't work, and AAF doesn't work in VR.

 

There's a new animation framework that just came out a few days ago, called NAF, and hopefully that one will get a working VR version.

I've spoken to the mod author, and since he has no VR setup himself, he has no plans to port the mod, or recompile it or however it works. The NAF mod itself is open source, so there's nothing stopping an experienced coder from doing it themselves, but unfortunately, nobody who would know or be able to do that seems to have any interest in doing it either.

I've been trying to get Sleep Intimate to work with my VR setup since it was mentioned before that it works with VR, however, I believe I have all the requirements and it doesn't seem to be triggering, nor do I get the "rest" option for the beds or even the configuration tool. Then I noticed that the current version was posted in May, after the post above that said it was compatible, and it now says that it requires Fallout 4 v1.10.162 which, as far as I know, is beyond the available VR version. Does this mod still work with VR and I've just messed up my configuration?  Or if it is no longer compatible, would someone be able to post an older working version?

I have no experience with fo4 but I'm looking to get into it coming from Skyrim and I am a programmer. I know AAF doesn't work, is NAF an alternative or the same thing? And do you happen to know if there's a VR address library for FO4? If it's just a matter of recompiling against a base library that should be easy enough for me but idk if it's as supported as skyrim

I don't know the mechanics of either AAF or NAF, since I'm not a programmer, and don't really know much about that whole world. I do know that Fallout 4 VR has an address library. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/64879 I also know that Dagoba has mentioned that the reason AAF doesn't work in VR is because of some LLFP functions that don't work in VR, and this mod seems to have ported "something" from LLFP to VR, although, again, I don't know what, because this isn't my area of knowledge. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/64420

I really hope FO4 VR will get the love it deserves, seeing how easier it was to use mods without getting all those CTD I would get in Skyrim VR.
