[REQ] Fat Bastards SOS

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi everyone,

So this mod has been around for while now ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57875/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D57875%26preview%3D&pUp=1 )

I'm looking for SOS support with this mod and wanted to know if this has happened yet?

I've found some old threads about the topic here on LL but without any real result so just trying to reboot the subject.

Any help people?

Cheers,

Ted

Check the author's next step, Enhanced Fat Bastard Body Replacer and its Optional File:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52372/

I rather recommend you to try SAM: Shape Atlas for Men for its Samuel (fat) morph and vanilla armor support, however.

[need registration] http://www.vectorplexus.com/index.php?/files/file/10-sam-shape-atlas-for-men/

The third alternative is to build your stout body by WIP male body for bodyslide 2 and outfitstudio

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25609-male-body-for-bodyslide2-and-outfitstudio/

(use the initial version), but you have to configure the compatible armor mesh by yourself as for this case.

Yeah. I've seen that mod, but I was really looking for a fat NPC mod with SOS support or the like.

Any ideas?

Replace/  the 'fat' body mesh of the Npcs (of Fat Bastards) with the SoS-compatible body mesh (mentioned above: EFB/ Bodyslided custom fat body).

SAM automatically morph the body shape of PC as well as NPC within some ranges of randomization, but the mod is also resource-consuming.

The fourth alternative is available now, though: The miscellaneous section of Mothers an Daughters

now has a WIP file titled as 'Elderly and Adults'.

This pack also contains the SoS-compatible fat body mesh, originally meant only for the Elder race.

You can also combine the body mesh from this mod with Fat Bastards in Skyrim, as I mentioned above.

Is there any chance you could give me a more in-depth guide? It's just that there are alot of meshes and I'm getting lost and not sure which is doing which? E.g. there are a whole bunch of body meshes in the Fat Bastards and I don't know which is which.

If I remember correctly, you have to rename your favorite SoS compatible stout body mesh

(for example, Fatbastard_SoS_1.nif in the mod Fat bastards in Skyrim itself (!), found in meshes>Fatbastard)

to FatbastardsNBF_1.nif (and overwrite original one with the renamed one).

I found that Fatbastard_SoS_1.nif in FBiS is actually the same with FatbastardWS_1.nif in

Enhanced Fat Bastard Body SoS support (beta).
