The oiledup effect helped to hide the small difference in brightness between body parts ?, and makes it looks more lively. I'm still very amateur about pixel shader and coloring technique. Further improvement might take very long time.

EDIT: So, I tested the dark version first and the result is very positive. I haven't tested the other version because I think, the texture is bright enough. If someone prefers very dark gamma in game, the light texture could be better. I would just release both or wait for other reactions. ?

All depend on if this mod is successful or not. ? I don't have to wait for anyone to do that but I guess it will be a very slow process. This mod requires about 6 months more to complete and then I 'll decide what to do next.

A similar skin mod for deadspace 2 would be awesome too.

 

Also, do you have plans to integrate levels 2 and 3 into the main mod file? I tried the level 2standalone, and it was juliet's skin on issac's vanilla skeleton. Could have just been something on my end though.

Levels 2 and 3 are version 1.0 only. I will update them later. Each model requires about 2 months to design so I decided to complete voice mod first.

I have a big plan for DS2+3 too. I will only make mod tools for them and the mod community will use the tools to make mods. So we can avoid bottleneck problem and socialize the fun!?

Voice mod is not really successful but it can do the basic task.
And I already started to mod Dead Space 3. DS1 modding will be slowed down but DS3 hopefully will be fun with more advanced graphics!

I just tried DS3 and failed hard ? ?

DS2 is more practical but I suspended DS2 modding because I'm starting to mod Metal Gear Solid 5 (TPP). It's gorgeous and they've already made mod tools for it.

DS1 will be updated with improvements and mod tools, in a few months.

I guess it's only DS1 that I can make something really good for! ?
