Aela face black in the darkness near a torch light

The texture is fine, but the behavior of her face in the dark is all wrong, her face is completely dark as if it was enveloped in darkness. Is there a fix for this? I am not sure what's causing this.

For information about the option file of Aela.(CBBE and UNP Body version)

"To install the option file of Aela. Please only use this file after completing Companions "The Silver Hand" quest.
The problem is that the facial expression of Aela does not change at all and when you enter the UnderForge is guaranteed to happen.
It does not improve over time, and the game save is forever tainted
Please re-install after you have completed the "The Silver Hand" by uninstall options Aela If you installed earlier by mistake .

The problem mentioned seems to be unrelated though. I don't have any problem with the lip synch.

when you go the underforge, aela is set to race werewolf

when you wake up after going crazy, aela is set to race nord

you want her to get back her head? you have to setrace aela... whatever there is in the npc replacer

 

if your aela is still a nord, doesn't matter what head you give her, you won't have that kind of problem

 

if the game generate a head they talk about grey face or whatever because femalehead texture set use to generate that head don't load the npc tintmask (it's to see if some npc aren't loading their head)

 

not the same as black head the ones have with sse, because sse can't load vertex color on nitrishape (and crash with nitristrips)

 

can't tell what it is without a screen

Black faces is usually lack of memory from what I've heard.  Best way I've found to reduce memory utilization without noticeably reducing visual quality is to use DynDOLOD. 

 

My system uses less memory and has better performance with 2-4k textures + DynDOLOD than it does with no texture mods at all without DynDOLOD.  It's not a small difference either, it's huge.  Vanilla Skyrim with no mods runs at about 15-30 FPS outside for me with occasional  drops into single digits.  Modded Skyrim with 2-4k textures for landscape, furnature, clutter, armor, weapons, body replacers + max quality weather and lighting mods runs at 35-50 FPS outside with DynDOLOD and single digits without it due to memory utilization.

 

I set texture size for both Texgen and DynDOLOD to the minimum possible (64) to conserve memory.  Visuals in the distance still look good and it means I don't have to reduce my texture sizes for nearby objects.  This is with a lowly 2GB video card.  If you have a better one you can set the texture size larger.
