CTD when loading a save.

This is irritating. For some reason, I can't load saves anymore without Skyrim just kinda dying on me.

Tried disabling several mods, erasing all enb files, even uninstalled sexlab mods just in case it was those, nothing worked. If anyone here can look at my load order and take a crack at it, I'd appreciate it.

EDIT: Almost forgot, it doesn't ctd when making a new game, however I'm very far into the game on some of these saves and would rather not start from scratch.

Try loading into a "fresh" save(a new save or one that isnt heavy on time played preferably indoors) then load to the save you want from there, I believe its an issue with memory iirc. Also Have you run TESVedit? it will tell you if there is a a problem with your load order.

^Works, though there is a more permanent solution.

Don't disable enb, at least not the enboost portion.  Without letting enbhost allocate memory for Skyrim, you're more likely to encounter these CTDs than not.

In enblocal there are the following settings:

ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false

Setting this to true can cause loading crashes, especially if you are also using Sheson's/SKSE memory fix.  Set it to false.

DisablePreloadToVRAM=false

Set this to true.  This is a triage solution that disable preloading which can help you load up a save, but can cause ingame stuttering.

Better yet, go on Nexus and install Crash Fixes.  It's an SKSE plugin that makes some changes to memory use that apparently originated here at loverlab.  Everyone's setup is a snowflake, but I can say that I had the same types of load crashes and this, along with the right enboost settings, have completely eliminated them.

Add it.  Also make sure you've got the latest version off Boris' site.

Also,

About as detailed an explanation you can get on what these settings do and how they might benefit you.  All I would add to this is the thread options (datasyncmode, prioritymode) are worth messing around with despite what the guide says, but only if you can't resolve ctds any other way.

Didn't work, even tried disabling every mod, and loading after making a new game, still can't load a save.

Edit: Well, I'm getting tired, didn't realize what time it was, I'll try fixing this tomorrow. If I can't, probably time for a fresh install.

I did that, sadly did not work. I'll try installing more Crash Fixes I guess

I had this issue as well. I tried this out and I was able to salvage my save. I hope this works for you.

1. Load an older save (as long as it doesn't have CTD on save glitch, then load it)
2. Create a NEW save (through pause menu)
3. Type in console command player.kill
--- during the death animation --- 4. Load your latest save (the one that had CTD glitch)
5. Type in console command player.kill
--- let the game autoloads (it will load your save from #4 above ---
6. Try saving (I usually just use quicksave)

Another thing worth mentioning is to use the savetool to clean up saves and remove unnecessary clutter to avoid corruption.

I think I may have solved the problem.

I decided to see if I still had Mod Organizer somewhere on my pc so I could check what esp files the saves might be missing, and I found something they were suppose to be missing but still had, SkyMoMod.esp. I uninstalled SkyMoMod to replace it with ImmersiveCreatures, but NMM didn't removed the esp because it wasn't from the actual mod, it was the sexlab patch for it. I think having both the SkyMoMod sexlab esp and ImmersiveCreatures corrupted my saves, because I made a fresh save without SkyMoMod and I could load the save after saving.

So, those saves are probably gone for good. Goodbye 80+ hours worth of save data.
