I have absolutely no idea how to install sexout.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm a total pro-n00b when it comes to modding. I'm also a pervert who wants my virtual avatar guy to fuck stuff. Anyways, I'm trying to install sexout and have absolutely no idea at all how to. I'm using nexus mod manager and can't figure it out. If someone could help me with step-by-step instructions, i would be super duper happy times.

There are five steps I always follow for adding mods through a mod manager, due to how they install files.

1) If the download comes packaged as an archive(.zip, .rar, .7z), unpack the files.

2) Make sure the files are arranged properly. File structure should be as follows: (/ indicates folder titles)

/data

--/meshes

----/(mesh subfolders)

--/textures

----/(texture subfolders)

--.bsa

--.esm

--.esp

Some mods come with optional files. Chose which options you want to use, place them in the appropriate folder, and backup the rest in a separate folder or delete them.

3) Combine all files and folders into a new .zip, .rar, or .7z archive (I personally use .rar, but any one works). Title the new archive with the mod name for easy reference.

4) In the "mod" tab in NMM or the "Package Manager" in FOMM, select "add mod from file" and find your new archive in the appropriate folder. Highlight the archive and click "open".

5) Once the archive finishes loading within your mod manager, double-click it and wait. You'll get a few pop-ups and viola!! Mod installed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the download contains a folder titled "fomod" DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. That folder contains scripts that will instruct FOMM and NMM on how to install the various files. Skip to step 3 above.

If the download is just a loose .esp or .esm file, just archive it and run it through the manager, or put it directly into your /steam/steamapps/common files/fallout new vegas/data folder.
