Nice! But I would like to know if you fixed those errors (dirty plugin and some other errors) that TESVEdit shows for this mod?

No, because I didn't touch the original mod; I made a patch for it. So any errors which exist in the original, still exist.

Dunno if you can answer this or not, but trying to use Visual Transfer Tool on the original mod and none of the NPC's added by this mod shows up in the Tes5edit tool. Any idea why that would be? I don't see a point in asking this over at the nexus as the creator obviously haven't stopped by his mod in quite some time :/

I certainly don't mind you asking :) but I can't answer you, I'm afraid ... mainly because I have never used that program, so I don't know how it works. The NPCs should show in TES5Edit, however. Their IDs all start with Eli.

Sorry.

Allright, thanks for the reply :) I find the NPC's fine in CK, but NPC VTT can't seem to recognize them. This is the first time I've had this happen, and I've usually transferred some good 80 or so visuals for npc's both from vanilla as well as interesting npc's and other mods. AFAIK they're named Hunter ingame, but no such hunters appear in the list of npc's (only the regular ones from vanilla). Even when searching on baseID it can't find them. I'm stumped as to why.

Anyone knows how to fix the problem that all of the NPC's there are hostile? All of them start attacking me the second I show up.

It is an issue with the original mod as it happens also without the patch, but I hope someone has an idea.

Huh, that is odd! No idea why, frankly.

Added: Actually, this sounds like a vanilla skyrim bug I've run into 2-3 times. If it is the same, this will fix it: move far enough away from the hunters so that hey stop chasing you, then wait 24 game hours. That should clear it. IF it is the same bug.

Strange. If memory serves, they are EliVolcanicHunter ... plus M/F and a number.

Yeah, I found them in CK, but NPC VTT just uses ingame names and baseID's and they wouldn't show up.

I figured out why tho; All the added npc's used one of the volcanic hunters as ActorBase. Setting this to none and saving fixed the issue :)

Hi Ffabris, would you mind telling me what tools you use to do this as I'd love to have a go at patching a couple of house mods I use to turn female NPCs male. Do you just use the creation kit, or do you also use NPC edit to make them more attractive? Thank you :)

CK, almost entirely.

That said, I have built up a library of faces captured in-game using RaceMenu's Mimic plugin. So I use those when making NPCs. I'm not familiar with NPC Edit.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I took the plunge this morning and tried it in CK (once I'd figured out how to find the NPCs in question!) but as soon as I unticked the "female" box in the Actor window, they went grey-faced :( Is it better to delete the NPC in question and create a new one with the same ID instead? Will definitely have to have a look at the Mimic plugin - may pinch a few of your Sky Hunks and the NPCs from your houses if you don't mind, as we seem to have similar tastes in men ;)

Once you're done changing an NPC, you have to regenerate the FaceGen data - not doing that gives you grey face. Ctrl-F4 will do it. But make sure you either have a preview of the NPC's face, or quit and restart CK.

and feel free to "steal" my faces. ;)
