KingSergiu Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 greetings. can someone please make a hairy texture for the CBBE body?
Yukie666 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Define hairy, I've been using some of the various CBBE photoshop layers just fine, and i could whip one up quickly. Or you could do it yourself, with either photoshop or gimp. I've noticed that you could almost use the various cbbe textures with the fo4 mesh, but the textures will not match the head or the hands. femalebody_d.dds
Kernel39 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Yeah, I was wondering why CBBE for Fallout 4 did not have any pubic hairs.

denver25 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5659/ try this, its in alpha same as CBBE Body itself. you can choose between 4 types shaved, V, Small Strip, Strip and traditional
jotunnqi Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Problem is so far all the hairy textures that have appeared lack specular or normals, including the innies mod, so looks worse than no hair (imho). Hoping that will be fixed soon.

Yeah, that has been driving me nuts with the current cbbe texture, I always used the nvidia plugin to make normal maps for my texture tweaks, but with the current texture i get very noticeable seams along the edges of the textures. Now i could probably fix this by making the unused background of the base texture match better with the actually used parts, just haven't gotten around to doing it/ don't exactly trust my skills with the mouse and photoshop. As for the pubic hair layers, I used the the overlays from http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49414. They don't lay in the exact position as a new layer, but can be adjusted with the move tool simply enough.

Least that's what I have been using for F4. https://gametechdev.github.io/ITW-Beta-Test/
Yukie666 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I am using the intel plugin for saving, i meant for the normal map filter itself.
bc733 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 First thing I did with outfit studio was port the mesh pubes over from skyrim. Hard to get decent looking pubes with just textures.
XunAmarox Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Open all textures with the Intel plug-in. Save the diffuse textures with the NVIDIA plugin as DXT1 after setting it to 16-bit mode (in Photoshop, image>mode). The normals and specs are saved with the Intel plug-in as normal maps.

Good to know. I tend to just save all my textures uncompressed, makes no performance difference on my rig so figure why not.
Guest Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Somhing lik this? it is not texture,it is a mesh
jotunnqi Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Somhing lik this? ScreenShot17.png ScreenShot18.png it is not texture,it is a mesh Totally forgot about the mesh pubic hair from skyrim, nice.

KingSergiu Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 it is skyrim meshes ported in fallout4 Pyubic hair.jpg if you manage to port the 3d pubic hair with textures let us know please. with a few more options would be nice like very hairy or hairy

Err, well the intel plugin saving uncompressed does for me . Then again I've only really been working on the diffuse textures so if you mean the other ones don't work uncompressed, you might be right. Edit: Looking forward to some proper mesh pubic hair myself, now you reminded me it exists
Brumear Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Hook us up Normal maps Pubs for fallout 4 just a reg bush old school ....

oldbloke55 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 so true. I tried CBBE innies shaving styles, as it was the only thing I could find on the F4Nexus. but to be honest I want to see a proper bush on my character. example.
Seanfall422 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 The mod page includes resources for Pubic hair. I haven't taken a look at them...and aside from using Bodyslide/installing mods and the like I tend to be rather ignorant of how to use such things. I learned a lot from Skyrim though. Trial and error. But I don't think I know enough about what I'm doing to actually use their resources. I don't want a flat texture either I want something that looks like you could actually run your fingers through it. ....Never thought I'd be so passionate about Bush on a Game character but that's where I'm at right now.
oldbloke55 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I tried this one. www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7113/? it's not 3d, but it looks good.
Yukie666 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 This is what I'm currently using that i hacked together myself. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/nomalas01/enb2015_12_28_11_12_17_1.png Still needs work, but I've got a normal that gives it a bit of texture, but need to make a spec map so it doesn't shine too much.
