[DOA5LR] Timmy's Private Stash, Tips & Tools - UPDATE(11/21/18): Kinky Overalls

Recommended Posts

I feel the need to demonstrate why I think making Genfu wasn't a complete waste of time.. as he's given me plenty of angry dick moments today.

Where could I download this kasumi DLC?

I guess the time has come for another round of post clean-up.   This is going to cause some disruption in my weekly mod release schedule.  I've been picking mods that I think are interesting or popular and slowly clean them up for release on kind of a weekly basis.    Not sure what's going to happen next week with the whole forum roll back.

It was time to release a companion outfit that was meant to complement Ayane's playful kitty tail that I released ages ago here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/50997-doa5lr-timmys-private-stash-tips-tools-updated-102615-v039a-tool-update-seam-smoothing-tutorial-flaming-balls-raidouleifang-fix/?p=1301594

It seems only fitting to release this outfit to coincide with the release of nude Genfu as she is shown in Genfu's Far East Adventure default_blush.gif

The time has come for another round of my old mod release.  I have been trying to find time to clean up some of my old mods.

This time it's an outfit for Kokoro to test the waters.  She appears to be one of the least modded characters (actually it seems to me that only Kasumi and Marie are popular, lol)

A while ago, transparency effect on clothing was the next big thing, and I made this outfit as part of an experiment to make transparent clothing as form fitting as possible to try and push the boundaries of what I know can be done with DOA5 modding.   After a bit of research and re-writing of my own tool set, I readjusted the weight distribution on her breasts and neck tie so that they move in a synchronous manner with the shirt as demonstrated in some of the shots below.

Here I present: Kokoro see-through police - Special Breast Pin Edition

Please be warned that minor clipping issues can still be observed, but according to my ever diligent beta tester Siframe, all are within acceptable margin.   default_biggrin.png

To install - the easiest way is to use Archive Tool to replace her DLCU_020's ---C,--P, TMC and TMCL files in DLC# 358140.  If you don't know how to use archive tool or have no such DLC, you will have to repack it into your own DLC.   Please do not spam this thread with "how to" install questions as I will not be providing such support.  There are plenty of resources on this board should you have any questions in regards to installation.

@timmyc :  is it possible to make TMC obj converter support "edge rotation" (flip edge of 2 triangles) ?

like this :

mesh.flip.png

i rotate the edge in the obj file but after converting into the tmc file, that edge still remains direction (not rotated)

Thanks alot :)

Should be doable with a rotation matrix that is applied to every vertex in the sub group.  I am not sure if I understand what you are trying to achieve here, though.  Did you modify the position xyz of a set of vertices but the change is not reflected in TMC?  I've rotated stuff in 3ds max before and the change seems to save fine when I export the model to OBJ and then into TMC.

Thank you for the help ,timmyc

i mean different thing ,"flip edge" does not change vertices position

Here 's several examples :

i think this is the easiest to see,i mean "flip edge" like this (the direction of yellow edge change) ,

another examples :

another one

sorry for bad english :P

It seems that this is done by changing the index buffer which in turn changes the way faces are read from the vertex buffer to change edges.  Sadly the index buffer is not updated in the conversion process with my app.   I suppose I could add some code to re write index buffer to achieve this kind of effect but that will constitute considerable amount of work.

At first I thought you wanted to rotate the object by 90 degrees which can be done easily with a rotation matrix within my apps code.

Thank you very much,

I see, the first image can easily be misunderstandood as rotated object :P

I guessed it requires hard work ,too

unfortunately no tmc converter tools (that i know) can't do that at this time
I appreciate your effforts and thank you for that ,so please take your time :)
Thanks alot

Hi everyone.  Been a looong time since I had net access and was able to visit these forums.  Looks like a lot has been going on in my absence!

Timmy, thank you so much for showing so much love for Lei Lei.  Can't believe she's been dropped from X3!

Also, I absolutely LOVE your Marie mods.  I saw a bunch of them over on 3DM too.  Stunning work, my friend.

Man, it's good to be back!

Just updated my game to 1.04 and Nyotengu's angelic milk plus is not working, I isolated other custom mods and load up the game only using that mod and still it only does that spinny loading thing on character selection.

There's a mod conflict. It's best you do the TMC/TMCL swap.

Solved it, I unpacked the DLC and Rebuilt it; and changed the character slots to a higher number and renamed the tmc tmcl etc... file numbers in order. Took a lot of tries and troubleshooting, learning the tools along the way. Thanks by the way and love your mods!

That's good. But with all the new official DLCs coming, you might have to readjust again.
