CBBE 3 TATTOO SETS

 

NOTE: None of the tattoo designs found here are mine. I've just edited and added them to the CBBE body texture. All credit goes to the original authors. Also, credits to Caliente for the original body texture.

 

I'm also taking requests, but i may take some time cause i mostly work in photoshop at weekends. So, if you have a specific picture you'd like to see merged in CBBE body show it to me and i'll see what i can do.

UPDATES:

 

 

01-Apr - Added new set. Dark set 4. (check pics)

31-Mar - Added more dense variant of color set 4 requested by saclet.

30-Mar - new set. color set 4. Converted from FO3nexus and requested by xxxdawgxxx. original mod here. It´s based on "unfinished irezumi".

29-Mar - New set. Tribal set 6.

28-Mar - New set. Dark set 3. Added full body variant of tribal set 3 requested by saclet. Added darker variant of tribal set 4 requested by strapjob.

28-mar - Made image organization and added individual downloads for set types.

28-Mar - New set. Tribal set 5. requested by vampireninja (works with curvy, i've tested it)

27-Mar - New file. converted original file of tribal tatto resources from TESnexus by vampireninja request.

27-Mar - pictures were not showing. changed hoster. thanks d2vis for the heads up.

26-Mar - added set 9.

26-Mar - added set 8 requested by Ramses (hope it is good).

26-Mar - added set 7.

25-Mar - Added another set (set 6) by vampireninja request.

 

 

I have a new file to present you. Requested by vampireninja and what a wonderfull idea it was, i edited the original Tribal Tattoos Resouce HGEC dds file from TESnexus to fit the textures of CBBE3 body. This is an easy way to add custom sets of tattoos to your CBBE skin. Following, there's a quick tut on how to achieve this.

 

TUTORIAL:

 

NOTE: In order to save files in photoshop in dds format you need nvidia dds tools - http://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop

Chose wich file you need depending on wich version of photoshop you are using. 32bit or 64bit.

 

The file allready has the skin texture on it so it is easier for anyone to acomplish final results.

 

In these steps i'm assuming you allready know at least the basics of working with layers in photoshop. Also, my native lang is not english but i'll try to be as understandable as possible. Either way you can follow the tutorial on the original page on TESnexus where the tattoo resources come from. It works for this one too.

 

 

-Open CBBE_skin_TATTOO_resources.psd file with photoshop.

 

-To your right select the layers tab.

 

-You'll see various folders in it. ex: boobs, belly, legs, etc.

 

-Expand the folder you wish to start with first.

 

-You'll notice within the folders are various layers named after the body part the tattoo aplies to.

 

-you see the layer preview? (small white square) left of the layer preview there is a smaler grey square. click on it.

 

-You noticed there is now a small icon with the shape of an "eye" within the square and the tattoo you selected is visible.

 

-"i don't like this one" click again on the small grey square and the "eye" disapears turning the tattoo invisible again.

 

-Now that you know how to make the tattoos visible or not, you can select only those you want from the various folders. (leave the ones you want visible)

 

-Once your happy with the results, it's time to save the file.

 

-You see the last layer on the list? The one named "skin"? right click over it and select flatten image. (it's important to do this or the texture won't save properlly)

 

-Now go to File>save as and in the file format select D3D/DDS.

 

-name your file like this - femalebody_1

 

-You'll notice the nvidia tool will appear.

 

-select DXT1 and No Mip Maps. leave the rest as it is. Click save.

 

-Voila! your file is created.

 

-Now copy it to skyrim folder>Data>textures>actors>character>female. Overwrite when prompted.

 

-that's it, you're all set.

 

TIP: when you select a layer theres a white rectangle in it's tab with a word in it. this is where you change blending options. Try changing this to other setting. overlay, indirect light or multiply are usualy good for blending results like removing the white edges from the tattoos. Try it yourself or leave it at normal. You can try changing the opacity option on the layers tab too.

 

Now i just need you to show your custom set pictures here ;)

You can also share your sets here and i'll add them to the main post. credit will be yours of course.

I couldn't find the original designs on the web so i had to "cut" the tattoos from the original texture and merge it in CBBE texture. Had to make some adjustments to make it look as good as possible. Original pic.

Choose the tattoo set you want from the rar file and copy the Data folder to your skyrim directory. It is also safe to install with NMM, just copy the desired file to your mods directory in skyrim's folder. (if you use NMM)

 

Additional note: I use CBBE slim so i don't know how will it look in Curvy, BBB or other versions. You can try it anyway.

This would be really cool, they look good, but what's up with the weird banding on the legs and back? That a visual setting of yours or part of the skin?

Probably because due to my visual mods i have shadows set to medium to save some fps. I know, that leaves some weird stuff... :P

awesome, but i was wondering if we could get a "clean" skin. i have a neck seam because the body from your tattoos are from a dirty variant of the CBBE, apparently, but the face mod i use (coverwoman) is clean.

 

its just a minor, niggling little issue.

I'll check on the body. Yet, have you tried the caliente tools to fix the seams?

many thanks! ive currently been trying to compile as many tattoo resources that I can find and compile them to make a LARGE pack for use with the full version of caliente's texture blender application. May end up pulling some of these and using them along with some skins ive been working on for a bit now too. before release will get back in touch with you for assurance that any work and ill identify which parts or what not ill be submitting for your approval for usage. thanks again!

Due to the resources found on that TESnexus page i can add the tattoos pretty quick to the body. Just some after-editing and scaling and it's all set. Your request will probably be here tomorow. Btw, could you be more specific in what type of "front" you're suggesting? :-/

Very cool. In the front, just something very simple, basic. It doesn't have to cover the whole front, just one small piece. :)

Tattoo 6 is missing the textures folder. Found while making a BAIN archive for easy swapping between Tattoos.

On with requests :) - Converting the whole file to match cbbe body would take a while, but i'm gonna do it of course :D still, i don´t know when it will be ready (not long 4 sure). As of the second request. Expect results in 1 or 2 days. You know, busy life and stuff... ;)

 

Btw, i wanna thank everyone for downloading or simply showing interest on this. It's the best thing to keep me working. :D Cheers to every1!
