BBB Ragdoll Breast Physics questions

Recommended Posts

I keep finding mods that require a "BBB Ragdoll Breast Physics" skeleton, here and there. From the description, it seems a modified version of Growlfs skeleton with special havok. Basically it adds BBB effect also to corpses when they are dragged around (perhaps there's more to it, idk).

I can surely check myself if this happens also with LAPF skeleton. My real concern is, if the RBP skeleton is a requirement for a mod, will that mod work using the LAPF skeleton instead?

P. S.

If the only drawback is loosing the BBB animation for corpses, I can live without it.

I think what is being talked about is related to this, located on Nexus: Realistic Physics and Force Package v12-38427-1-2.7z

And it is a bit more than just breasts...

It basically adds a better sense of realism when you fight, kill or move NPC actors in-game. Some creatures can be altered too, but I don't bother with those.

I ran my LAPF skeleton (and those prior to LAPF) through it well over a year ago and I love it. But then I expect more out of ragdoll mechanics vs. the average Joe.

Very very easy to use. Just remember to back up your originating skeleton, so you can quickly revert back if you don't like it.

Realistic Physics and Force Package v1.2
By: 46&2
Update by: LogicDragon

===============
1. Information
===============

This is an updated version of the Realistic Physics and Force Package by 46&2.
The mod is now in OMOD-Ready/BAIN format to be more compatible with mod managers
and now includes creatures from Shivering Isles. The aim of this mod is to
improve the physics of ragdolls and make them more realistic.

This readme is mostly a copy of the readme by 46&2 but I made a few changes where applicable.

New features in this update:
- Added collidable versions of the skeletons (v1.2)
- More creatures body-liftable with glitches fixed (v1.2)
- Now in OMOD-Ready/BAIN format
- Converted creatures from Shivering Isles to use the Realistic Ragdoll physics
- Added the Will-O-The-Wisp and Storm Atronach skeletons, they work without issues
- New set of Body_Lifting_Only skeletons, same Oblivion physics but with body lifting
- Removed the npc skeletons - use the RRSC program to convert them

===============
2. Description
===============

There are 3 parts to this mod: Ragdolls, Force, and Magic Force. Each part is optional
so it allows you to mix and match to create the desired effect in physics changes.

----------------------
:::RAGDOLLS SECTION:::
----------------------

Each of the "01" folders contains a different package of skeletons that change the physics
of ragdolls. Except for the Body_Lifting_Only version, ragdolls will fall faster
and more realistically instead of the generic "slumping effect". Friction has also been
increased so they won't slide as much when they land.

Folders that have [Collidable] at the end of the name are the collidable body versions.
When using a collidable body the esp file in the "02 Havok Collision Fix" folder
should also be used. It fixes a bug that stops you from colliding with a body if the npc
was paralyzed or knocked out before they are killed. Requires obse 19 or above.

---

1. Original
These ragdolls have the same physics as standard Oblivion.
The non-collidable version is just a quick way to manually uninstall the mod.

2. Original_Body_Lifting
These ragdolls have the same physics as standard Oblivion but bodies can now
be lifted. They still float when falling and have flailing limbs.

3. Friction_Increase_&_Less_Rigid
Ragdolls are now more rigid than standard Oblivion so they have less flailing limbs.
Also increases fall speed and increases friction to prevent sliding.

4. Friction_Increase_&_Less_Rigid_Body_Lifting
Same as Friction_Increase_&_Less_Rigid but bodies can now be lifted.
This is the package recommended by the 46&2 in Realistic Physics and Force.

5. Friction_Increase_&_More_Rigid
Makes ragdolls much more rigid than standard Oblivion so limbs will not flail too much.
Also increases fall speed and increases friction to prevent sliding.

6. Friction_Increase_&_More_Rigid_Body_Lifting
Same as Friction_Increase_&_More_Rigid but bodies can now be lifted.
This is most similar to Realistic Ragdolls v3.

To install manually, open one of the folders and copy the files inside into
your Oblivion\Data folder. Click yes if it asks to overwrite.

To uninstalled manually, delete the skeleton.nif files that were added to your
Data\Meshes\Creatures folder. You may also copy the files from the "01 Original"
folder into your Data folder but this leaves extra files on your computer.

-------------------
Liftable Creatures
-------------------

If you installed one of the body lifting packages then you will need
to know which creatures are liftable and how to lift them. Not all creatures
are liftable due to glitches/graphical problems with certain skeletons.

Now, if you installed the liftable creature version but only want some creatures
to be liftable then it is possible to pick and choose which ones should be liftable.
Open the corresponding folder for non-liftable creatures and go into the
Data\Meshes\Creatures folder. Find the creature you don't want to be liftable and
replace the creature in your Oblivion\Data\Meshes\Creatures folder.

:::FORCE SECTION:::
-------------------

/03 Realistic Force/

These 3 esp files edit the game settings related to the amount of physical force
that is applied to a skeleton on death or knockdown (wherever Havok takes over).
This force is affected by melee combat and arrows.

RealisticForceLow.esp -> Very low force, targets will crumble to the ground as if they have a strong sense of mass
RealisticForceMedium.esp -> Medium force, targets will be forced more based on the direction of a strike
RealisticForceHigh.esp -> High force, targets will be forced very much and often lifted off their feet

To install any one of the .esp files, simply open up your Oblivion/Data/ folder and copy the .esp file to that directory. Only one of the 3 .esp files can be used at any time.

The best way to test the result of each .esp file is to simply try each one and choose which one you prefer.  Keep in mind, the force represented by each of these .esp files is less than the original game!

-------------------------
:::MAGIC FORCE SECTION:::
-------------------------

/04 Realistic Magic Force/

These 3 esp files edit the game settings related to the amount of magic force
that is applied to a skeleton on death or knockdown (wherever Havok takes over).
This force is affected by magic only and enchanted weapons have this added on
top of the physical weapon force.

RealisticMagicForceLow.esp -> Low force, enchanted weapons will exhibit no extra force, so enemies will not fly through the air
RealisticMagicForceMedium.esp -> Medium force, enchanted weapons/magic will give a little extra force to an attack
RealisticMagicForceHigh.esp -> High force,  magic attacks will give a fair amount of extra force to an attack

To install any one of the .esp files, simply open up your Oblivion/Data/ folder and copy the .esp file to that directory. Only one of the 3 .esp files can be used at any time.

The best way to test the result of each .esp file is to simply try each one and choose which one you prefer. Keep in mind, the magic force represented by each of these .esp files is less than the original game!

3. Personal Preferences
========================

These are the settings that 46&2 personally recommended using:

/Friction_Increase_&_Less_Rigid_Body_Lifting/
RealisticForceMedium.esp
RealisticMagicForceLow.esp

================
4. Known Issues
================

- The HavokCollisionFix.esp takes about 3 seconds to fix the collision
after an npc is killed who was previously paralyzed or knocked out.
Fixing the collision uses the obse Update3d command and causes the npc to
disappear for a frame.

- Loading a save and killing an npc in the current cell with the kill
or killall command then reloading the save and killing the same npc
with kill or killall causes the npc to disintegrate.

- Unlike in the original Havok Skeletons mod, bodies do not shiver
when you walk over them.
